Yes, it is an American college. Animal House was an iconic film because through comedy it portrayed something all American colleges could relate to in some way or other. My experience at Eckerd was that freedom of choice about what to participate in was always respected by students.
I remember when that happened. I’m leaving Eckerd for my own reasons but those reasons have everything to do with the school and the lack of communication, organization and prioritization of students. They only prioritize money, it’s a business, doesn’t feel like a college. The education is phenomenal tho, but I can get a phenomenal education elsewhere
