Salty comment coming from 66% of 3v3 squads having edgerunner now... this class require absolutely no skill in 3v3 to be a threat goodlord. Just spark, ulti+halo and you can kill someone while just standing there lol. If they dont die, they burned minimum 1 save, possibly 2. I'm legit getting sick of dealing with this class where the only way to counter it is tank it until the shield energy is depleted and ulti is burned then try to nuke it while the edge still have genie+apoth.
Ah I honestly dont mind other edges at all, none have really been a threat whatsoever cause in actuality, its Halo that can be dangerous on top or AOE Spam in trip spark. No trip spark already leads to no damage output at all, unless you ZC all the time which I dont at all personally. Other than that, yeah, they can stay protected for a while..but with halo, ulti and SS off...they are basically 100% useless. I find myself in so many situations in which I cannot even attack anything anymore cause of being a melee class. When I look at my damage when I do not zerk I actually wanna cry. Also, edge is squishy as hell, one CC + AA off shields and genie and it explodes. Next time we reroll squads I will play sin..a far more protected, versatile and far less limited class with no weakness whatsoever. Sure, less AOE DD..but tbh, that doesnt even matter. If its a 2v3 after a few moments its 99% a safe victory anyways and edges AOEs only really shine when people are bundled up together like bonobos anyways. Then ofc, trip spark ulti + halo will obliterate anything, add a nova for good meassure and the edge can kill em all on its own..but the lack of CC and securing a kill drives me mad on Edge all the time. Not so on the sin, genie gone, CJ, AA, dead. 100%. No questions asked. Imho edge is still far too weak because it has too many weaknesses even compared to more underdog classes. Almost every class has at least a little thing they can use but once the shield energy is used up or in CD...edge dies fast. Ofc, if the edge is not dumb he will just kite away if being focused but meh, other classes do not even need to kite at all. Overall tho, imho clerics are by far the most broken class in there and we will definitively use 0d again to get rid of them asap clerics skillset is just beyond cancer and they are FAR too tanky. Sure, they can be lucky bypassed just like any class, however, very unlikely vs a decent one. PS: Which edge do you find particularly threatening? Cause I havnt seen any yet. I have loads of fights coming up and roughly a dozen was vs edge squads. Not once did the enemy edge make a dif at all. If it was a good bm, sb, veno, cleric or myst instead...welp that might've been different.

Even Edges ulti..if not combined with 3 spark or anything...who dies from that..the damage is pathetic tbh. Even DBs are much stronger in there but everyone forgot how to play the class it seems, because most DBs seem like hyper nonfactors. A quad combo on a purged target is still insta-kill almost every single time. No one talks about that anymore which is weird tbh. Also, most edges go for water damage..just use oxygen, all damage gone. I personally could pick...mhm lets see Sin, DB, Cleric, Mystic, SB, tec, archer, Wizard instead of my edge and our squad would be just as strong or even stronger than before because of all the utility those classes have.
I had that already, sadly, equal geared duskblades have no chance whatsoever. On selfbuffs, just my own physical debuff + tangling Mire on a trip sparked Shield or Halo instantly kills almost every duskblade. I kinda dont wanna upload videos that are too onesided anymore to not fuel peoples delusions of how "broken" a class is :(
@@muchlisanyukisaki5380 I mean good duskblades can still win, but they need to know the edgerunner in ane out to do so. Other classes are still chanceless vs DB in 1v1, cept for sins, barbs, BMs and to an extent seeker.

I started playing with an edgerunner, when i wear armor it doesnt show it on my char, why?

The class have maybe 4 escape skills + count genie and pots xddd
