The 1990s music is very positive because that era was truly a period of hope for a better tomorrow. The Cold War ended in 1989 with the break up of the Soviet Union, and 9/11 happened in 2001. That decade between these two historical milestones is the main reason why pop music had a positive hopeful vibe to them. People truly were hopeful of a better future going into the new millennium.

This song really means so much to me. It brings back so much nostalgia of my childhood. Definitely my core memory. When I first heard this song from my childhood, and many years passed by, and have finally found one of the songs that have formed my childhood life made me realized that this song of the Boyzone means that I'm such an avid fan of them since 2000s. And I'm beyond happy that I've finally found this song having the feeling of time travel back from the 2000s. This is definitely one ageless treasure for life.

When this song came out my husband and I had been through a bump in the road of our marriage... we were starting out for a second term and I would play this on my way to work and always think of him. I loved him so much, and I prayed things would work out between us, as tumultuous as it was. Sadly, after 22 years together, he decided to go his own way, leaving me heartbroken. Hearing the song now makes me think of the life that would have been, and could have been, 'if only'. X

This was a such a good soundtrack to 'Bean: The Ultimate Disaster Movie' which was the first time Mr. Bean was on the big screen. There couldn't have been a better artist/group to perform the soundtrack as Boyzone were the perfect choice. This film was also the first film I ever saw at the cinema. The film and the song brings back a lot of childhood memories.

They simply don't make such songs anymore and by "they" I don't mean 'Boyzone' but in general! I'm listening to this song in 2020 and all the old memories come rushing in! Those melodies and just the music is timeless! Boyzone truly defined what music should be in the early and mid 90s. I'm so glad that they made such songs which will go onto live forever - unlike some of the crap coming out of today's millennial artists.

19F rocker here. Born in 2003, so missed the 90s by only a few years. I was so in love with Boyzone in around 2008/2009. First real love of a band at 5/6 years old.
My parents had all of the Boyzone music videos recorded on the TV at the time (it was a Sky TV) and I remember my mum letting me stay up "late" (was probably about 9pm but I was very young, so that was late to me lmao), when my dad had gone out that night and from then on I would always ask my mum to put Boyzone on. I hadn't listened to them for years by the time I'd reached 14 and when I stumbled across these guys again, it made me so happy and smile so big! Boyzone will always hold a special place in my heart! Reminds me all the time of my childhood and the nostalgia is amazing!
