The Educast featuring former CEO Mr Anil Shah and the renowned actress Ms Karisma Manandhar was incredibly insightful, I truly loved it. You both are veterans in your respective fields. Mr Shah has made an immense contributions to the banking sector, while Ms Manandhar has significantly shaped the Nepalese film industry. Two key traits we should all learn from you are your humility and positive attitude. You are assets to this great nation, and we are immensely proud of you. Mr Shah and Ms Manandhar serve as role models for millions of Nepali youths. You are fountains of inspiration and a driving force in the lives of countless individuals. Above all, I must highlight that the integrity of the Nepali people has been dwindling steadily, especially since the restoration of multi party democracy in 1990. Corrupt senior leaders set a damaging precedent. As they became corrupt, others followed, the bureaucrats, senior police officers, army officers, and even judges. This corrupt culture gradually infiltrated the entire nation and, tragically, now affects more than 95% of the population. Realistically, this is the crux of our country’s challenges, I believe. In such dire circumstances, role models like you can play a pivotal role in combating this culture. First, by continuing to exemplify integrity (which you already do), and second, by actively opposing these tendencies through media, whether by speaking, writing, or other forms of advocacy. Before wrapping up, I have one humble suggestion for Karisma ma’am (and I hope you take this positively): please consider focusing more on reading and writing rather than dedicating too much time on movies and similar activities. You have already made remarkable contributions to that front. If you do so, I am confident that, 10 years down the line, you will be recognised not only as a great actress but also as an intellectual icon of Nepal. This will allow you to make even greater contributions to our nation. Warmest wishes, hajur!
