Trip Recap: Total 498 casts, 25 fish caught 6 species, first fish 4th cast. 2 - 2 Fish Streaks. 3 Crappie, 11 Copper Nose Bluegill, 7 Peacock Bass, 2 Typical Bluegill, 1 unknown Cichlid possibly a darker color Readhead Cichlid, 1 Large Mouth 7 Gulp Minnows used, 1 lost jig to a fish, 65 ads viewed. High cast count from throwing the spoon a lot. Bummed out about the spot I suggested in the Everglades. Definitely had to be the weather. I’m guessing the fish all moved out into the deeper water as it would be warmer. As far as catching Peacocks at night, it happens, however it is very rare. They shut down at night and the Large Mouth get more active. Looking forward to the rest of your Florida videos. I know summers are hot, that is where the Peacock Bass fishing really shines.
So awesome to click on your channel and see you down in Florida again. Loved watching your Lake Ida trip last year. Your enthusiasm is so contagious - thanks man! I got skunked this morning so this video is very welcome.
@ Thank you for keeping these videos real, I enjoyed your older edited videos but not like this. This format really makes the viewer feel like they are on the water with you, and for some of us (well me at least) that means everything. I’m not much older then you I’m 46 and I found out on May 5 this year that I have end stage kidney disease (talk about a kick in the nuts) so I spend a lot of time at dialysis. My treatments are 4 hours long so it’s just the right amount of time to go fishing with you 🎣 some day ill be on the water again but until then these real fishing trips are perfect. Don’t know why I’m boring you with all this I usually don’t comment at all but thank you again and good fishing!!!!
I just want to let you know. Love all your videos, me and my brother watched them all. I live in South Carolina. Now I grew up in Miami. The lake that peacock bass were first introduced to was my neighborhood lake in Westwood Lakes. Now, if you can find Miller road and 117th ave, there's a wide canal that goes under the the interstate there that canal is snapper creek, it is slap. Full of peacock, bass and right by that area, is a launch that you could put your kayak in but peacock bass feed, mostly. The hardest summer high noon, the hottest part of the day is when they're most active. Good luck fishing.
Thanks for taking us on vacation with you. I know i appreciate it. I hope you caught some shark and we have some shark fishing video coming. I hope you had a great time over all.
This is my personal opinion, and i think you share it. If someone doesn't enjoy bluegill fishing, they need lighter tackle. It's a blast with ultralight tackle.
I like the unedited videos more just because your entertaining. It’s like we get to watch fishing and a good pod cast you could call it. Keep up the amazing job b safe
You were talking about using a good swivel with the sumo spoons. I really like those chain swivels for those spoons. I've seen you use them in the past. I was wondering why you stopped?
You should give inshore fishing for trout and reds a shot. It’s my favorite fishing. You can catch big numbers of specks when you get on them and they’d be fun on your UL gear. Reds are tougher to find and catch but they’d be a battle on that setup!
I’m with you on these new StCroix rods with the plastic handles . They suck , very uncomfortable to fish with. Took mine back after using it once . Another case of fixing things that ain’t broke 👍
These raw unedited videos are great for doing house work and cooking …. Makes me get it done fast . If you were to stop making them , the house will get dirty and I would lose …. lol
for future reference: Home Depot has a tool rental. I have barrowed small hand tools from hotel maintance personal. I know this want help you now, but maybe in the future.
You don't have to seek out the next trend, you ARE the trend setter. Look at how many more channels are doing raw and uncut. The problem is they can't carry a conversation for 4 hours like you can.

Thanks buddy! I will definitely try that spot you gave me again when weather conditions are better. It was a great place to drop a kayak in.

You were talking about using a good swivel with the sumo spoons. I really like those chain swivels for those spoons. I've seen you use them in the past. I was wondering why you stopped?
I ran out of the chain swivels so I have just been using the ones I have.
@ makes sense

Skunked on the last carp trip before I left for Florida
That happens. I know you know already but it would be cool if you got a big Oscar. I have a big Oscar here at home in one of my fish aquariums
Justin, that was just another awesome video by the way that heron must’ve been named Karen because it sure acted like one
Haha! Thanks!
I’ve always wanted to catch a peacock bass. First one I catch that’s decent I want to mount one. They are just so majestic looking fish and so pretty
Those copper head bream are everywhere below the fall line in blackwater rivers. Swamps, creeks. Most famous river being Edisto.

Haha! Glad I can help you clean house without actually having to clean lol.
The power driver is Undertaker's move

Yes you can use crappy 10in as fish bait in Florida apparently to Google you can
Good comment or bad comment…doesn’t it still count as channel traffic? Bring on the haters😂lol
get a bolt the right size and get it hot enough to melt a hole in it

Put me on the chest in south Florida.
