You should watch the video on the Pensbury schoolboard meeting, a solicitor named Peter Amuso was on that board and quite literally shouted at taxpaying parents who merely wanted some answers about their kids education - I'm from the UK and it's crazy that you have to fight for dialogue with these evil board members, it clearly shows they are up to something else and I think the effort you are putting into this is really great to see

Sullivan is what he cites. Justice William Brennan Jr. said “that public discussion is a political duty, and that this should be a fundamental principle of the American government.”[16] Such discussion, he added, must be “uninhibited, robust, and wide-open,” and “may well include vehement, caustic, and sometimes unpleasantly sharp attacks on government and public officials.” en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Times_Co._v._Sullivan I hope this helps in some way. @19:09. I, for one, would not like anyone making my student an "agent" of any kind; and I don't want anyone teaching my child how to "dismantle" anything without my consent. All this language sounds very destructive, and very similar to what they say they're not: a Marxist enterprise. Not saying that's what they are, but the language sounds very similar to revolutionary type groups we have seen before.
Schools have been a mess my entire life. You lucky to have access to a school not designed "failing" according to the state. In Syracuse we have had multiple years where every school failed to meet standards and graduation rates at 50%. And a large percent of the graduates were unprepared.
Here is another clear indication of their deception: "Culturally relevant curriculum reflects the images and concerns of children whom it teaches, promotes critical questioning, and is committed to social justice. Finally, *culturally* *relevant* *teaching* *is* *grounded* *in* *CRT* (Gay, 2002)." -from Engaging Critical Race Theory and Culturally Relevant Teaching: Preparing White Teacher Candidates to Teach in Urban Environments. @Sheeple Hunter - thanks for referencing that. I’ve been stating for a long time how deeply rooted over many years this is. It’s not a recent phenomena of a few activists, but rather, the bedrock of educational philosophy and pedagogy society wide throughout the West. Unless it’s rooted out in the arenas of teacher training, unions and boards (with a full rejection of CRT literature underpinning policies) this cancer will continue to kill our education systems. ‘Cultural Relevancy’ was the label used to introduce all sorts of things into the curriculum from the 1990s onwards which drastically lowered academic and behavioural standards and expectations.
It's just a sly way to pad up the staff and administrative numbers, while at the same time peddling garbage narratives. Within yet another Upstate district with declining enrollments. Gotta keep the union dues and political donations rolling in...

@@TheRichTyson Gotta admit it man. It's a bit intimidating when we have parents like you who are constantly trying to pick fights with the board, just waiting for the opportunity to get up in people's faces, start a conflict, and make the whole thing about themselves. I've been staying informed by watching our meetings on TH-cam (you and I must be watching different meetings though), but your point is taken.
@@jsgbullseyetm Everything I have ever said to the board is on video. You clearly lack basic comprehension if you think any of my comments are trying to pick a fight. I have actually offered my assistance and person experiences. Take care!
@@TheRichTyson In this video? How about calling out the race of everybody in the equity audit? You mention the "white women" (listen to that disgusted tone @ 8:19... you hate them don't you), how many black people were there, and (once again) trotted your wife's race out there like it's a trump card.
@@jsgbullseyetm So by acknowledging the race of those participating in a call about race is now racist? My disgust was in reaction to how disgusting the non minorities were acting towards my wife who is a minority. Not a Trump card pal, it's reality. And no, I don't hate anyone but I don't really like people that treat my wife like shit. Would you?
Thank you for standing up to this insanity.

May the Lord bless your uphill battle, Sir. 🙏
Thanks for holding their feet to the fire!!! I am praying and will be adding my voice to the fray to say not in our backyard !!

this woman is talking absolute doublespeak. all the buzzwords are there twisted to their warped mindset.
At what point do they respond to your inquiry? Can you have direct questions that demand a response added to the minutes for resolution?
This is why I left NYS

Using nice words to push a narrative.
Local man who gets to speak at every school board meeting posts a public TH-cam video about how his opinion is being silenced.

Another racist rant from Rich Tyson. Your self-righteous posturing at each of our school board meetings is making me alert, aware, and ready to fight.
Explain, in detail, how this is racist.

You’ll have to do better than an ad hominem attack…I hope you will maintain the same level of decorum as Mr. Tyson, manners matter…
