Just fyi it can lower your credit score if you close credit cards, since it lowers your overall available credit. If it doesn’t have an annual fee it’s best to keep it open and just not use it :)

Definitely check with someone you know and trust, but from my experience and understanding, it's better to leave a credit card open, even if there is a zero balance, because it keeps your credit history open longer, and also increases your total available credit.

Words of wisdom from an elder (I'm about twice your age but I love your videos lol), it's actually healthier for your credit to keep the one you don't like open but paid off. If you close it, it can actually bring your score down. My unsolicited advice is to cut it up and don't use it but keep it open :)

Maybe a tip for goal setting - it should be something that you can work towards or that you yourself can change so it‘s more motivating (e.g. you do not have much influence over your following numbers) and maybe you fell out of that routine because you couldn’t influence the outcome of your goals as much (:

PSA you shouldn’t close (or open any new ) credit card accounts if you are trying to get a house. It will affect your credit score!

I know im late but i hope you didn’t close that credit card. It’s not good to close credit cards. Just use it once a month to keep it active and then pay it off right away.
