I had to stop the video to make sure you were using Marie Sharp's sauce. The sauce is sooo good. As a Belizean, it's a must-have sauce in the house lol. I enjoy both contents., and keeping them separate is a good idea because both bring different audiences who might only want to watch one or the other, or bring one viewer to the other. Pleaseeee would love the idea of a separate YT channel with coding / tech stuff, if it’s not too stressful for you. However the way you integrate your software engineering work with your lifestyle content is already top notch. So keeping it this way is equally a great idea.
i think you should do what makes sense for you from a business standpoint. if there is an issue with audience retention / interest when you’re switching between lifestyle and tech content but you plan on making both and you want to also continue to grow your audience, then it makes sense to separate the two.
yeah that's exactly what I noticed when I was making both type of content -- some comment wanting more vlogs, and others comment wanting more just tech. And it hurts video performance when your audience is split like that. Not an expert though and could be other factors too, just what I've noticed!

Some things to keep in mind is how the TH-cam algorithm might work with having your content all in one channel versus split, which I don't know lol but I'd imagine consistency of video publications, views across videos etc are metrics that would change. I'm sure you're probably already thinking of these things too, lots to consider!
