Remember that when the Sgt. says "Our duty is done", that "Only in death does duty end". No expectation of surviving that one. Probably Leandros who recommended Titus for a suicide mission. Though I am guessing that he will probably survive this. I hope Sgt. Metaurus survives as well because he was an absolute unit in that fight.
@@drpainglove3389 I kinda hope to see him in a novel, training Titus before and after he gets his augmentations to become a space marine. It's rare we get a good story of a space marine in training and they set it up perfectly with this episode

if it wasnt obvious(sorry fi you mentioned this and i missed it) but the guy behind the Astartes animations was directly involved in the animation of this project and i think thats not only well deserved and awesome, but also explains some of its quality tbh

Given that they are on an EXPLICIT suicide mission and it sounds like they are bombarding the planet after èurging that altar/temple, I'm wondering if this means they are canonically killing Titus in the end? Seems a bit weird, but I have no idea of how else I should read the scenario.
@@TucoBenedicto My guess would be that there would be an Evac zone that they are supposed to reach before the planet is cracked should they survive the encounter. It would explain why Titus takes the sergeant and runs from the temple rather than just let the bombing do what it's supposed to...which in that situation would be to kill all of them. Additionally, had they intended to eliminate the planet via Extermiatus I would think it would've just been done without the whole effort of personally going to kill the Sorcerer. Perhaps it's a targeted aerial strike to eliminate the Chaos Shrine to Tzeentch on the planet?
someone who knows about the purity shields...finally. most of the streamers who think they know the lore...don't really. btw i believe the Psyker is a Astropath version ???
The thing Titus is dragging as a child is the combat knife he still uses.
6:03 since they're all expected to die it's cool to see everyone assembled to see them off.
Never thought of that. Thank you
yeah nice detail.
Great Reaction. Love seeing people that know warhammer 40k calling things out as they watch it

I also like Metaurus and he seems like a good candidate to have appear in Space Marine 3.
Not probably lol Calgar literally says Leandros recommended Titus at the end of space marine 2

Love your enthusiasm, mate. Subbed for more.
At Titus rate he’s going to meet robute Gilliman his primarch
He would make an excellent candidate for the Victrix Guard.

The sorceress of Tzeentch the chaos god of change/time/lies/manipulation/future paths is so cool.
Loved your commentary.
Deep into it!?! 🤣😂🤣 You're only on your 4th army! I've been collecting since '89. This rabbit hole is DEEP!
Also Hail to a fellow Son of the Lion ✊🏻🦁
Understandable reaction from a 40k fan

Tituses greatest feat is that he singlehandedly redemmend the fucking Girlymanns fucking smurf village in the eyes of long time fans.
You need to read up on the books because they've done wonders with the Ultramarines in them.
Presume this the mission after the game???? forced into a suicide job.
