The infrastructure worked for 60years with no issues. If your excuse is for 16000 and now 72000 than why did you not improve the infrastructure accordingly.
If you listen carefully, Dr Saul just the connection of previously disadvantageous groups is what is causing this issue, which means there are nuisances, and one wonders why the sewer system isn't larger enough to meet the demands, just as the ANC prides itself on connecting people to the grid but does not build more power plants at Eskom. You build more infrastructure with more users, so you see the guy has at least nine cars parked in the yard. If you asked him, he would probably tell you that the number of drivers in his household increased, so he has more cars, but he doesn't apply the same logic to public service delivery.
The infrastructure worked for 60 years, but you failed to mention that it really did only work for 10% of the population. Our post-1994 democracy is about integrating the other 90% of South Africans, that have previously been violently disenfranchised.

The fact that he is making reference to 1994 is absolutely embarrassing......They've being in office for a full 30 years yet he still refers to pre 1994 infrastructure, this is disgusting 🤮🤮🤮
Yep. The fundamental tragedy of South Africa is that government officials can steal ALL taxpayer money (and do NO work) and the ANC will protect them, and the "geniuses" will keep on voting for this. This will keep on happening until every part of the economy collapses and suddenly the "geniuses" will starve to death. They are so intelligent that they are literally voting for their own destruction and the destruction of their children's children.
Govan's debate performance was lacking, but as viewers, we're growing tired of the ANC's excuses, so we'll overlook it. The premier made valid points, but they seemed to arise from the poor line of questioning and lack of preparation, which overshadowed his arguments. It's clear the team needs to step up. The real problem lies in the government's tendency to fund ideas without proper planning. Prioritising ideas solely for voter appeal is irresponsible. It's time for more responsible governance centered on thorough planning and thoughtful decision-making. NHI is the next thing to suffer from this

Actually Dr Saul in particular insisted on not having blue light brigade. Let's be objective in our analysis everyone. We don't have to like the ANC, but let's be objective with our analysis.
The main issue is that if you had the right people running the treatment system, they would have pointed out that you need to increase the capacity. The fact that no one said anything means that those people are not doing their job. And if they are not doing their job, they should not be there. Get the right people to do the right thing. Please do the right thing so we can all have the right environment. Yes, we appreciate that the "previously disadvantage" were connected to the system. But we must not after 20 years of connecting them and having a system that is disintegrating make them an excuse for not doing our job.

Hi Travis, don’t take this the wrong way. Go and read between page 40 and 52 of the Eskom white paper. You might look at things from a different perspective. Here’s another example, if you plug all your household appliances on one plug, extensions, chargers etc, what’s gonna happen? Isn’t it gonna overheat? I mean simple physics talks about such things and how current flows. Different wire thicknesses, length etc. Easy to understand. The infrastructure should’ve been upgraded a long time ago had many of the recommendations been implemented. In our neighbourhoods, one pole had 4 wires to four houses for example. People, because they know better, went on to connect 11 more cables because there are backrooms etc. Back to that plug example… aren’t we overloading the transformer? I think it’s simple according to me.

Is the ANC freely supplying their employees with Psychedelics? It's like they are living in their own created reality where they are heroes. Shocking... 🤔
This speaks directly into the ANC's lack of planning, all talk and no action. They made promises to include the previously disadvantaged which we agree this should be done and they gave access to this infrastructure without improving or expanding it in this 30 year period. Now everyone will suffer those consequences and ultimately revert to the way it was before with zero access to anything for anyone not just the prev disadvantaged. This failed approach is evident in all of ANC's promises since 1994.

Another example of the absolute nothing that the ANC is doing.
The prime minister handled the narrative very well.
0:26 "where's is that ?" He wanted to act he didn't know. 😂😂
30 years of ANC corruption. Please vote for competent leaders South Africa.
5 thousand units, 1 billion budget now they just playing with the people
We all know it's not gonna happen all that money is going to get looted the ANC know they should not be in power that is why they will steal as long as you vote for them. The Eff couldn't build 1 school in Alexandria in 5 years yet in the western cape they putting up schools faster than the anc can build rdp houses
