This is the story of Benoite Rencurel. She was a poor shepherdess living in the French Alps. The Holy Virgin started appearing before little Benoite at a little chapel in Laus. The news of these apparitions spread far and wide, and pretty soon thousands arrived to visit the chapel. This news didn’t go well with some in the Church as they though Benoite was lying to get famous. They soon sent a team to investigate the truth, and they were in for a shock!
