This song reminds me of my first love / the one that got away.
I remembered back when we were highschool, we were so young and naive. Ayaw ng parents ko sakanya kasi bata pa daw kami, but we stayed together until mag college na kami and makagraduate na ako. We’ve been together for 7 years. But unfortunately he met someone na ipinalit nya sakin.
We broke up for 2 years, pero sa loob ng 2 years na yun alam kong never syang nawala sa puso ko. I want to share my story, super love ko yung song na yan. Dahil sa kanta na ito, nagkaroon ako/kami ng assurance lalo na ako. ako yung type ng girl na malaki ang trust issues because of the traumas from the past. walang araw na hindi ko siya tinanong ng "Love mo'ko" or "Mahal mo ba ako?", araw araw niya din sinasagot na oo then when he knew that song. one time nag ask ako then sabi niya halika dito pakinggan mo'to (IKAW LANG BY NOBITA) sabi niya "Whenever you feel na hindi kita mahal, or you want assurance, pakinggan mo to. Ito yung saktong gusto ko sabihin sayo.

I remember my girlfriend from this song. The most beautiful and amazing person I met in this life time. Ang sakit lang. Kasi wala na siya. She died last May 7, 2021 dahil sa cardiac arrest. This song reminds me of the girl who i met in the jeepney when i was in 10th grade,
the first time we met we sat right in front of each other.. time has passed and i felt her looking at my direction, as if she's looking at me.. i didn't really know her so i didn't think of her that much.. she wears the same uniform as me so we both go to the same school.. just on a different school year.
fast forward i see her going to the same jeepney almost everyday.. one time its raining outside and we enter the same jeepney, i sat to her unintentionally.. that's when i got the feels.. we sat next to each other, i can hear her mumbling and whispering something, it was something about the rain outside.. that's when i first heard her voice.. i didn't know how to feel but i fell in love with her voice, and i also liked how her hair moves from time to time, she has a short hair which is my ideal type , and i saw her hands it looked so soft like i wanna hold it forever.. i dont know how but she just made me feel a certain way that day.. right after she got out of the jeepney she gave me one last look in the eye, and that's when i realized i fell in love with her, with her eyes and looks everything..
right after that day, i always took the opportunity to try to see her going to the jeepney every day to see if i could meet her again and see if i could sit next to her.. right after that day it was a success and we managed to sit next to each other again. This time she's suspiciously more quiet than usual, and she doesn't look at me and instead focuses on looking at the view of the outside. i was nervous to talk to her due to how quiet she was so i dismissed the idea..
when its my time to get out of the jeepney she also got out at the same time.. its a bit weird because i didn't think we live in the same block.. she usually got out on the jeepney on a different block way before that, so this time we're walking right next to each other.. i stopped and looked at my bag to get myself an umbrella because its scorching hot outside.. she also stopped and did the same.. and then we walked and walked not realizing she was walking right behind me..
and then unexpectedly my heart stopped when she asked me a question from behind.. it was with the voice i fell in love with. she asked me "kuya, anong grade nyo po?" i responded with "10, bakit?" then she said "huh, wala lang" then walked faster than me as if nothing happened.. and then right when we part ways, she looked at me again, i looked at her then immediatly looked out because i was feeling nervous and shy at the time..
and that's our first and last conversation with each other.. i was thinking she liked me so i wanted to get with her in a conversation again.. but you dont always get what you want in life, and because my luck is bad, unfortunately she doesn't go to the same jeepney anymore, and im left there alone not wondering where she went.. until i realized she now has a service.. meaning she doesn't need to go to a jeepney because she can just wait for her service in school.
i felt my heart shattering after realizing that.. and here i thought i was being excited to be able to meet her again and talk to her..
i can still see her at school which is not bad, we have eye contacts every now and then but its very rare and happened in like 1-2 weeks.. those stares she gave me felt like it had a deeper meaning.
I still dont know if she liked me or not.. what the heck is the meaning of those stares? i dont get it.. one time i heard her talking about other boys with her friends.. and ever since that day i dont feel her stares to me anymore.. she hasn't give me a hint other than our first conversation from back then.
And i realized as time goes by, she's slowly forgetting me, she's moved on unlike me who is still miserable..
in my last day of highschool. Last day of 10th grade, i was looking for her because i wanted to atleast ask her name.. i was right in front of her but she doesn't look at me, i feel like i didn't exist. that's also the last time i met her, because i just graduated from highschool meaning im going to another school next year and she won't be there.. it was our last time meeting and i didn't even get to know her name nor get her to look at me in the eye nor talk to her for one last time..
after experiencing that moment i go home and played this song, and its actually so good and relatable with my current situation that day. i felt sad, but im currently on the process of moving on. she made me feel a certain way both positively and negatively. and its not like she was attractive or anything, just something about her just makes me fall for her.. maybe its because she showed me an imaginary affection? or maybe i just wanted someone to love me like no one has ever done before..
up until now i still wonder about her today, and think about if she's okay.. still dont know if those stares she gave me have any hidden meaning, or whether or not she even liked me back.. but im slowly moving on.
