- Looking back at my past videos it's been a good ten months since my first visit to Doncaster, and this time I took @BlueHToys with me and of course said hello to @CosmicToys both of whom advised me on purchases! A haul video will follow, but last time I didn't take footage inside and so I've gone the other way here to give you an idea of just how big this event and the venue actually are should you be thinking about going. Enjoy!
I’ve had a table for the last year and they’ve pretty much given me the same spot without asking, they just like to keep regulars in the same place as much as possible.
i got there before you, i haven't actually seen an ATM onsite, if you need cash, next roundabout straight on you need to find a corner shop but you will lose 30 mins going and getting back, dont forget to ask them to give you a stamp for re-entry. fabulous variety of allsorts, however prices vary wildly, i wanted a 1/18 shelby eleanor between the cheapest and most expensive, £40 difference, from different sellers, always check prices there before you buy, unless it's a one off item you find again. and it was getting rammed in there, i finished at 1030, when the normal admisssion enters, they were queing round the side of the building, plus hundreds of people still heading toward the place...it gets very cramped at times.
All very sensible points, I think there are ranges of prices for anything of course. I myself was furiously ebaying at one point to try and figure out if the price offered was reasonable! I would certainly recommend research if you know ahead of time what you're looking for.
There are ATMs on site but charge you £4.99 for the privilege. Be prepared cash is king.
Thanks, I've just realised I've still yet to venture upstairs during a fair so I've no idea what's up there! I can't recall seeing any ATMs but I'm sure I've not seen it all...
