The fact that Hogan's WM IX entry has a black eye is a hilarious attention to detail.
Austin's win after KOTR 98 having the giant taped elbow with pad as well (he had just come off a hospital stint from staph infection to work the match with Kane)

@@porcelinaofvastoceans Inoki, Andre and DiBase aren’t recognized as champion by WWE, it’s not like they’re always included
Andre is recognized by WWE... although in a controversial manner, he did win the title. It was him selling it to DiBiase that ended up not being officially recognized.
André is official and recognized, unlike Inoki and DiBiase
Inoki's was because he respectfully wanted his name kept from the lineage out of honor to the World Wrestling Federation. As for DiBiase, I suppose it was testing the waters for him as a Heel Champion. And, heavily contrasted to The Boom of Hulkamania, it shows why he isn't included either.

I love the fact that every wrestler were portrayed with their correct ring gear for the match in question (at least the ones I remember). Great stuff!
I feel it's fitting Hulk Hogan was the last WWF champ. Either him, Austin or The Rock.

@@ryanfriesen4366 Not true about Undertaker Hulk Hogan was still Champion. When Hogan defended the belt, WWF had already changed its name to WWE; therefore, he was the first WWE Champion followed by Undertaker.

I'd love to see the legacy of:
- the IWGP Heavyweight title
- the TNA World title (after split from the NWA)
- the ROH World title.
- and the WWF Intercontinental Championship
The iwgp title is an absolute cluster
Seconding the IC title.
It was the workrate belt. For a long time, it was nearly as prestigious as the world title. And it's a great way to see people who should have been world champion, but never had the chance.
If they do IWGP, I hope they treat the original IWGP title as the same, because it's so fucking bizarre that Hulk Hogan was the first ever IWGP champ.

I think they lingered too long on the Lex arc. By the time it got to Summerslam 94 they barely acknowledged his getting destroyed by a mid-card Tatanka. Hopefully they get their shit together soon.

Its really telling that promotions hated putting the title on heels back in the early days. Their reigns lasted a few months at best compared to the good guys holding the title for 6+months if not for years outright.
And the bad guys only held them so the good guys didn't have to fight the other good guys.
