- The abandoned Maiden's Hall Farm. I was in two minds whether to video at the farm. I however decided to do it not to sensationalise in my video the event that happened. But to highlight to anyone that might view the very sad happening for all parties especially the poor lady involved in the tragedy. Also to show the farm itself that has fell into disrepair over the years. I have edited with a bit of a dark track because at the time It did feel a bit sinister being there.

I was intrigued by you description and had no trouble finding the story of John Carr and the farmer's wife. Very sad. Apart from that, the photo/videography was up to your usual high standards, and the music really set the tone. Great work! //Tom
Thanks Tom I didn't want to promote the video due to the sad event so left it to yourselves to look at the history. On Google maps the farm is intact from 2012 I'm not sure when it was vacated but it hasn't taken long for the buildings to fall, in saying that the house looks as though it had been stripped and ransacked 🙈😊👍

Now thats the abandoned buildings i love to get inside with Pocket 2. I would spend hours looking around. Excellent video well done.

I wonder what happened to the farmer and the family. Did they leave the farm or did they stay?
Good question. When I was looking at the farm on Google maps the view was of 2012 and the farm looked intact and an old man was outside, there were sheep in the pen, so I'm assuming the farmer stopped but he would have been at least in his 70s in 2012 if he was a similar age to his wife, he possibly vacated or maybe passed in the 20 years since the photo, the outer buildings looked like they had wind or weather damage but the house looked as though it had been ransacked when it was left unattended 🤔👍😊
