Awesome! I’m doing a paver job and it’s going to be with porcelain pavers and just been looking at how ppl install them and it’s the same as regular pavers I see !
Hi, Thanks for this video, I have paver sandstone 60 cm x 60 cm x 2 cm. How much depth of paver sand you think I should put in. I was thinking 2 cm deep. Also If you can share that after adding road base does it have to be 100 % level..? as I am not able to get it 100 % level & I was thinking it can be rectified when I put paver sand to level few spots here and there. Please suggest.
Currently in the middle of doing my patio with 600mm x 600mm x 20mm porcelain patio slabs, these will be laid on a bed of 1inch of sharp sand (Above appropriate subbase). there will be 3mm gaps between the slabs. I want to use kiln dreid sand inbetween my porcelain patio slab. Do you think this will be a problem?
Agreed, but I think you're a bit more optimistic than myself. Tile that size on a dry screed bed is impossible to get laid flat, lips and rockers aplenty.
@@jivanjohal that's a lot of caveats you've added there. I'd prefer to lay the porcelain correctly and not have to worry about too much rain or if too many people walk on it. Do it once, do it right!
As a Paving Contractor for many many years, my opinion on this display is that its grossly misleading to folks that have no experience. Folk that have experience would know that laying them on sand involves a hell of a lot more technique than is illustrated here...
Dear Martin, thank you for your input! What do you think we're missing her? Please share your thoughts with us, we'd love to hear them and maybe we'll come back with a better video!

How did it work out? I'm considering this myself after seeing manufacturers' advice of dry laying on all gravel/sand.
That’s screenings crushed bluestone not concrete sand ?
Would this be an option for basements instead of a concrete slab?
Would never last, a week of rain an some heavy traffic an your in big trouble

@@kooper1683 I do think it would be ok in low traffic areas AND if those slaps are super heavy

Use self levelling clips and you will never see a lip on a tile again regardless of size.
