while watching this it occurred to me you could make a jig using pins, and use it to make precise, consistent bends every time, the same way pipe workers and iron works do. adjusting the distance between the pins would allow for a greater distance between bends, for hoods/cowlings of different sizes.
you are right you are a modeler not a cinematographer. I feel this video should have only been 10 minutes. Try recording your tutorial and overlaying audio later to help keep people interested. You lost me at about 5 minutes and I started skipping around to get the information I wanted.
I absolutely love the way you have patiently explained, thank you
So cool this would work even for RC cars👍🏾

Good tips but I use the thinner brass
I was turned towards this thickness when I saw someone else building hinges and always stuck with it.. lol
Neato! Thanks Doc.
It’s actually easier to do the hinge bend first, then shape your rod ends.

Do a how to on fender flares
I could do one. I mainly use kit flares and add them on, sometimes I make my own too..
@@DocsKustomKorner52 would like to see a video on your kit and custom flares. I like short track cars
If possible could you bring up the volume a little.
