There should have been a second line to that- my condolences to you and your family, the dodge and your trailer reversing will live on with all the other memories you have.
Good to see you back Matt. Those fittings being from across the pond could be national pipe thread (NPT) rather than the usual British Standard Pipe (BSP)
Tampering detection is the door moving against the bolt. The wind would rattle the Navy battle lab door in drafty Sims Hall, Newport. The door sensor would log it.
The 3 on the tree came about because it was unheard of for families in the 1940s to own more than one car, but they had many children that all crowded in the car, at least 3 people per seat, sometimes more. A floor shifter put the lever between someone’s legs, but a 3 on the tree put it up out of the way.
I enjoyed following along ...! Just some points to make , that looks like it could be a CANADIAN produced Dodge ( shorter wheelbase , different brightwork , no Fluid Drive ) If so , I believe they are equivalent to the USA PLYMOUTH which has the short wheelbase , and slightly smaller engine ( 217cu in vs 230 c.i. ). Few actual engine components interchange though they outwardly look similar. Electrics for both are positive earth , E brake works on a drum behind the gearbox. DeSoto and Chrysler 6s are different again .
Yorkshire Joke: man goes to stone mason to get a headstone for his late wife, the stone mason is told to carve the epitaph "She was Thine" - with an 'E'; so upon visiting the installed headstone he found the carving: "E She were Thin!" - Told you it was aYorkshire Joke! 😇
That should be a positive earth system. Almost all vehicles were positive earth until 1960 or thereabouts . My 1959 Ford Anglia was one of the first negative earth cars in the UK that I've come across.
I'm surprised that is a 12V system. I would have expected 6V, probably positive ground. Perhaps that beast has already been partially worked on, several times.
Yup, it has a got a warning label: Dodge!…. My 1940 Dodge is a positive ground electrical system. The Flathead 6 was used from the 1930s to 1968, I think.
@@fittermat I know that one, I just sort of stopped one day? Until I buy a new film editor it will stay that way :o Anyhoo, you have to admit that old CAT 360 came out good in the end :)
Dear Mr Kadyrov can you please stop making so much noise it's making my vintage tank followers tetchy and threatening to start some serious WC Incarceration, Mr P of course is not impressed with your oligark performance over the last 6 months, so, for christ sakes get your finger out and start delivering some sort of content that we (your fans) can take the piss out of!
Welcome back Mat!!!
Cheers!
he's had a 'Selling Sunset' makeover...looking good.
There you are! Missed you. Welcome back.

Beautiful car, I wish good fortune on getting it to turn over!
She will get there eventually!
that excavator has expansion gaps on the valve seats clever design
Oi Oi fellah!
Yes what a bloody gem that car is. 'ColdWarMotors' is having fun with a 1947 Chrysler that looks just like that Dodge.
I think they were made by a few manufacturers post war!
@@fittermatChrysler,Dodge,Plymouth and Desoto all came from the same company but were similar in looks only . Not much interchanged between them .
Nice to see you to see you NICE

That’s a nice example. Might have a chat with Richard at Electric Classic Cars! Could there be a Hyper-9 in its future.

Love it!
Metric sockets to remove the starter?
Sometimes you’ve got to go with what you’ve got to hand
Crikey...thought you'd died!! Welcome back.
With that color and that plate you could get a few bob for it in my neck of the woods. WSU (Washington State University) colors are crimson and grey

nice car, its got the same engine as a dodge weapons carrier
It does!

It is a 6v system, just two battery’s to up the rampage rather than the voltage
Have you got a longer strap. 🤣🤣🤣

8:00 Er about as useful as Chocolate Teapot!!!! 😂😂😂
Pencil the plugs!!
Spare tyre on that trailer looks mint.
The Dodge is very nice though. Lick of paint on the hood and it's cherry.
If you squint, it’s mint!
Last year then, because you ned a boat in that field now :D
It’s took me awhile to get round to the editing!

Not seen a comeback like this since Barrymore…. Oh wait..
Alright at the front, alright at the back, alright in the deep end??🫣
A cracked head on a Kubota ? Now there's something you don't see every day/ week/ month/ year 😂😂😂😂
I don't think Joe like USA cars lol.

Bloody hell… can you try keeping the camera steady? Serious motion sickness watching this. Or trying to. 🤮
All that bitching about the gears - I had a Vauxhall with three on the tree back in the day. It was a pa with a split windscreen.
Are you two effing married?
