Korda Underwater 8 FULL DVD Part 1 | Carp Fishing

  • เผยแพร่เมื่อ 8 ส.ค. 2018
  • Amazing carp fishing underwater footage of HUGE carp and an insight into just how they react to carp fishing rigs, tactics and baits. For the first time in the history of this unique series, Danny Fairbrass hands over the fishing reins to Ali Hamidi and Tom Dove.
The first Underwater St Johns adventure made angling history in Underwater 7 and landing the lake’s biggest resident, The Big Plated, was a euphoric moment for Team Korda. However, Underwater 8, which was filmed during the same session, reaches new heights and breaks even more ground on our underwater journey!
New methods are tested; tactics such as solid bags and pop-ups are used for the very first time, alongside many more eye-opening approaches. The lads take an amazing haul of fish culminating in yet ANOTHER 40lb carp, making Underwater 8 the pinnacle of our work in this area.
Sit back, put your feet up and get ready for the angling shock of your lives.

i am impressed by the casting ,carp in canada are relatively easy to catch ,i have now switched from filling a big hook with corn ,and a lead sinker ,,to methead feeders and hair rigs ,i am 70 and this carp thing is addictive ,,getting the tackle for carp is expensive here ,but e bay and free shipping has been a boon ,,the asians and eastern europeans have realy got the ball rolling .but alot of bays from lake ontario ,have placed carp gates to stop them getting into the bays to spawn ,i went and watched them jumping on each others backs ..hundreds upon hundreds of massive carp ,pigs with no legs ,following natures call .the bay i fish is landlocked now ,so the carp are free to spawn ,but chicken wire keeps them from eroding the banks and destroying weed and game fish eggs ,,alot of anglers hate them ,but i love them ,,thanks for posting ,,

I fished there in the early 90s in that exact swim, just after it opened. There were barely any trees and the spit between the lakes was just a bare sand bank. I was fishing to basically the same spot they’re fishing in this video, there was an overflow pipe there if I remember. The water was crystal clear and the bottom was really clean. Good times

Good vids boys very informative. But may try a dropping in tool for perfect rig placement when fishing far margins old 7m roach pole with bait spoon or old tent peg where you can place baits silently just have to cast to far bank rig up while your mate keeps line reasonably tight at rod. you need 2 people for this tho. I've used this method many times it kicks arse. Silence is key!

around 40-50 minutes in when dovey keeps getting done then changes rig. The problem if you look on the video, is that there was too much play around the lead. So the fish was picking up the bait and not connecting with the lead to set the hook.

    • @adrianlunnon3514

    • @flipthechip4989
      @flipthechip4989 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Don't pay for PVA foam! Next time you order something that is packed in 'foamy' pellets test if they are made out of corn starch (there are also versions out of plastic) by putting one into water or your mouth. Corn starch pellets will melt in a few seconds and you can use them on your rigs.
They are cheap/free, do the same thing as PVA foam und small fish will eat the residue.

so to unlock the day ticket code is to pay for 14 day tickets on the lake and bait it for a week before putting a rig in the swim. i love the vid but if you call it something to do with day tickets then you should fish it as someone on a day ticket would

In tomas case who he change the hook size, thats the reason why i always fish with big hooks. They hook faster and better. No slice outs or broken/bend hooks. And even the scariest carp take big hooks. I catch the queen on the great lake with a sized 4 hook! They way aggressive then smal hooks. Its a myth that smal hooks better for old wise scary carps. And here we se that big hooks are the way to success. So let the small peckers in the box and take the bigger hooks. Nr 4 is always right in every situation. For the weight from the hook i take wafters in 50-50 or snowmans with a 3/4 sinking boilie and a half pop up in 15mm or 10er then no cutting but i drill a hole in the sinking boilie and push the popy in the sinking boilie. But first sinking then popy so the color full popy swims up and catch the eyes from the carp.

Fabian Kolb what size hook do you suggest for fish no bigger than 15lbs, a small fisheries I use doesn’t have many big fish (1 or 2 in the 30 plus range) so what’s the biggest you would recommend.

I caught 10lbs carps with sized 4hooks but when i go explicitly on that small carps i would use a nr 6 hook that seems to be the right size for them.

So all those bits you try and convince people to buy for their rigs you don't use yourselves. Funny that. All a waste of money.

      Nonsense...
Just because Korda offers a lot of different rig-components, that doesn't mean that their employees are not allowed to have some preferences.
They have a lot of different anglers who all have their own favorite rigs and because of that Korda gives us the chance to copy their rigs or use different components in a completely different way. Nobody demands you to buy every style of hooks or leader.
In my opinion it is nice to see that there are many different ways to present a PopUp and that I get to know why the angler presenting it uses it. After I have seen a lot of different presentation I can decide which ones I would like to try and which ones fit my style of fishing the most.
They only have one rod on the spot. There is no way to present every rig/component on one rod...
