One thing i want to tell you that, you have paid fair price...... But if u count left over money which u mostly dont get back or give them then i will say you have paid over...... By the way..... All the best for your tour of Pakistan......... God bless you
i'm from karachi... you are getting finessed by the scarf dude.. those scarfs sell for 500 to 1000 rupees max... i paused the video to comment at 16:51 i hope he didn't finess you... going back to watch again...
so yeah do did get finessed by the scarf dude... but the rest of the vendors all gave you fair prices, some actually gave you better prices than even i get.. lol

As a Karachiite. We used to love going to Zainab Market to buy clothes. I am getting lost in the '70s and '80s when my parents took us shopping for clothes. All the worldwide brands get cheap clothes from Pakistani factories and sell them for 1000% profits. CBC television (Canada) did documentaries about Bangladesh cheap factories, but Pakistan (Karachi cotton factories especially), have been doing it since the '70s. Wake up gen X!

Is it not worth whatever someone wants to pay for it? Send it to the US, put a Gucci label on it and someone will pay hundreds of dollars for it haha

Did you just call me a "not so clever foreigner"? 😂 I am fully aware I probably paid a bit more than I should have (I always expect to in any market like this) but I am filming a video so that is the reason I decided to humor him and go along with it, was just a bit of fun. If I'm not filming then I never follow the "Come to my shop" people haha. Appreciate you looking out though!
This is an old video because it is raining in Karachi today
I upload 4-5 times per week and film 20-30 videos per month.. I then edit them all myself whilst travelling from place to place. It would be completely unsustainable and impossible if I was trying to upload the day of filming 😂 Not to mention I have to keep time free for being sick and taking a break.

I would be walking away from almost everyone if that was the case and have no video haha. I am aware whatever he was trying to prove with the ring was obviously made up, it was just amusing to me. 99% sure it's not fake cashmere though, just isn't the highest quality.
