How to build a non-load bearing wall

    How much weight would you say a non-load bearing wall can support? Like, if you hang a TV on the wall and mount it into the studs. How many pounds would you say is the maximum?

      @@greencasestudy Well, a non load bearing wall like the one I have here, secured on the bottom, right, top and left side into studs, it should hold anything you want to put on there. For the most part, hundreds of pounds. If you put a double top plate on instead of 1 top plate like I did, it would be a real wall and support a second floor above it. But if you’re just building a wall like I have here to hang stuff on, or to divide something, in my case sound barrier, just secure the wall that you build to the walls that are there and to the floor and ceiling, you will be golden! Sorry it I made that confusing!

      Lolol 😂 They didn’t have a stapler, so I tied it on one of the boards but it blew off right when I got onto the main road! Cars everywhere, trunk bobbing and all I had was a little string holding it down and janky!😂 Party with the best to he🏑with the other goons LOL
