The chorus has got quite a strong Latin vibe to it, at least to my ears, so certainly very appropriate to start the singing with FIESTA 😃 Also, I totally love those progressions like the one in the intro and the middle 8, which is fair to say are a staple in Asian pop music

I immediately love this song when I listened to the start as well, the chord is really catchy, and the chorus has Latin vibe to it as well as Dreamlike which is also a great song in this album. Latin vibe seems to be quite popular in Kpop recently. A lot of bands have Latin vibe included in their title songs, maybe a new trend. I also learned a lot about music production. I've been watching your videos for a while but it's my 1st time commenting since I'm a big IZ*ONE fan ^^ I really love your music analyses, would be awesome to see you go more in depth or perhaps give more of your personal thoughts (to go along with your already stellar technical music knowledge). Maybe have a 2nd listen to go over what you liked/disliked/would have done differently, or even your thoughts on the video/choreography/concept etc. I personally wouldn't mind if your videos were longer to account for stuff like that, if anything the TH-cam algorithm prefers videos longer than 10 minutes XD Another idea could be to do more videos of you recreating popular kpop songs (similar to the one you did for BLACKPINK but full versions with analysis/thoughts)? These would definitely require more work for what could be little gain, but it could also help your own music production if you know in detail how popular kpop songs are made and can pick up tips and habits? I'm just super interested in music production and have watched a lot of videos of people recreating beats...but those are usually boring with no commentary :( Anyway keep up the good work and thanks for the enjoyable content :D
thanks etupas i appreciate it! glad you have been enjoying the videos so far :) yeah this was a shorter video wasn't it? im getting more aggressive with my editing after studying the channel analytics, turns out most people dip off when i talk too much so i ended up cutting more of my info out to keep it moving and engaging! i can always add more visuals and overall make it more in depth which is fine and have done before, just depends on that song / particular week etc i plan to do more in depth videos like that HOW TO BLACKPINK IN 5 MINUTES but with my own songs once they get cut and released. that blackpink video took at least 40 hours to make. figuring it out, filming the video then the edit itself is very time consuming, it would end up affecting my usual weekly videos and my general Kpop song pitching! if its my own songs ive already done half the work right? haha i do appreciate you leaving your thoughts on this! thanks again and i will be making videos like the blackpink again, just no idea when! haha

It feels like it takes too long to get to the chorus and the B chorus is a little jarring. But the A chorus is so damn catchy! It’s really growing on me though. :) as always, your technical insight is really helpful!
It's interesting, I find IZ*ONE to be somewhat generic, and the only thing I really know about them as a group is that Chaeyeon was on SIXTEEN and is Chaeryeon from Itzy's sister plus that she's a fantastic dancer. But some of their beats are ridiculously well produced and catchy. I really like the production on "Fiesta", and much like "Violetta" it's a bit of a banger with a very dense tapestry of sounds. Otherwise, the vocal part is somewhat meh... it's just there. No disrespect to the girls, but I just don't think the group has much of an identity.

It feels like it takes too long to get to the chorus and the B chorus is a little jarring. But the A chorus is so damn catchy! It’s really growing on me though. :) as always, your technical insight is really helpful!

It's interesting, I find IZ*ONE to be somewhat generic, and the only thing I really know about them as a group is that Chaeyeon was on SIXTEEN and is Chaeryeon from Itzy's sister plus that she's a fantastic dancer. But some of their beats are ridiculously well produced and catchy. I really like the production on "Fiesta", and much like "Violetta" it's a bit of a banger with a very dense tapestry of sounds. Otherwise, the vocal part is somewhat meh... it's just there. No disrespect to the girls, but I just don't think the group has much of an identity.

I would really enjoy this song, but that high pitched synth "horn" starting at 3:25 and then repeated at the end is very annoying IMHO.
