Depends on your usage, I do it about every three months for daily use, probably recommend more often. Puly caff is for back flushing and cleaning the brewgroup only! For descaling I use wine acid, solve it in the water tank and pump into the pre heated boiler. Wait for an hour and pump fresh water into the boiler
I took of the boiler and the resistance of my lelit Anna. The resistance had a lot of stuff on it … The boiler was not bad not good , but not like yours in the video . I cleaned the boiler and the resistance . My only concern is that I had to take of the salt from the resistancI rubbing it with fine sandpaper. It’s clean know but is it a problem that I rubbed the resistance? Thank you
Thanks for your video’s. Do I need a resin filter when using Volvic bottel water? And do I need to descale the machine yearly? The procedure with Puly liquid descaler I mean.
with good water you can avoid the discaler, i suggest you to ceck the silicon tube, if you see some limestone on the tube you will need to valuate the filter
Happened to me due to ignorance. I filter my water before using it but I underestimated how much lime stone still was involved. It wasn't as bad as in the video, but that was mostly due to luck, since a friend told me early enough. I had some problems with getting enough water through tough.
Look at how dark grey the limescale is, its not normally that colour. Its likely due to lead leaching, from the brass boiler that you use and internal copper heating element. Not good! Its the reason i didnt buy the pl042
But it would be so satisfying cleaning it out, wonder where it was used.
How often we should descale the machine? is pully caff good for descaling?

Thanks! How do I find out, if I have to open up my boiler?
Good question 😮
How do you even let your machine come to this state omg
By ignorance, certainly.
you just use it until it stops
How do I get detergent out of my group head ? I’ve back flushed many times with water but my coffee is filled with detergent
Puo' essere utile un ciclo di aceto al mese?
If I use only bottled mineral water, this won’t happen, right?!
bottled has minerals that can became to limestone
Was the customer lazy?
Unbelievable! anyone who lets a machine get into that state should not own one!

On my pl042 i don't have those 2 screws on the group..
please send an email at care@lelit.com, and please send me the foto of the problem
Se uso acqua in bottiglia posso fare a meno del filtro?
I can't believe that he doesn't have a decent socket set!

how do i know when to replace my filter?
The filter has a property how much litres it lasts. There are 35l and 70l lelit filters. I replace them about once a month
Reminded me of a dentist, jaja
What a disaster
I reckon they were putting salt in the water
Ist das nicht auch ein Design Problem?
this is a problem of non-maintenance
my heart is bleeding....
omg
If you are not going to take care of an espresso machine just get a Keurig.
omg i cringed when that shower screen came off
omg that screen was nothing... wait until the other part gets opened up!
I am so disgusted, Will backflush my machine right now.
has nothing to do with backflushing. this is limestone on heating elements. backflushing washed the solenoid valve

there is no lead in brass or in copper
@@gordanbabic8028 Actually brass can contain lead.
