Going to the Manchester Gig on Friday night. Been into the Stranglers since 1977 when my mate in the 1st year at Secondary School introduced them to me. 47 years later, still into them and going with the same mate to the Apollo.
I was there in Manchester. Shame they started with just like nothing on earth.....2 years ago it was toiler on the sea. Much better to kick off the night
They played 2 nights at the playhouse in 1986 and both nights there was stage invasions and seats getting ripped out but in actual fact they did play the Playhouse again in 1990 which passed by pretty tame so possibly tongue in cheek from JJ

The sound quality on the videos from this tour has been excellent. Can only imagine how good it must have been to be at the shows.
