United 93 is such an amazing movie. it is so well written, directed, acted, and told. This is such a hard movie to watch, not because of how bad it is, but because of how real it is. This actually happened, and the bravery of these passengers cannot be underappreciated. This is a movie that will always make me cry when I watch it.

Yes, it also shows, how complicated it is to organize things when you find out what is going on. People sometimes think, that it was easy after few minutes shoot down the planes as in action movies, but here you could see, how chaotic and uncertain informations were and how busy air trafic is. As they had over 4000 planes in the air and they were trying to find out, which is hijacked... Very well made. No pushing of any agenda, just how it happened.

It was harder to watch after my nightmares knowing how in love me and Ziad really were and we saved so many lives by crashing the plane ourselves even if we tried to save the passengers lives. It was very intense

A VERY underrated movie, your review is spot on. I also felt that sinking feeling when United 93 ended. I was to move for art college in Pittsburgh just two weeks after 9/11.

Great review Joe, this is an amazing film and one that is very powerful to watch. It’s one that I watch around the anniversary of 9/11 and I too get the sense of whenever I watch the film that maybe everyone on the plane will be alright despite what happened in reality. This is an excellent film and was made in very good taste.

This movie is a prime example of how to respect and honor tragic events.

And me, it gave me nightmares. The worst nightmares were when me and Zaid eventually get together; he eventually admits his love to me after forcing me into hijacking the plane with him because I would die if I didn’t. The nightmares mainly focused on me and Zaid’s hate/love story with the tragic ending it had. We both ended up surviving everything but then, I collapsed out of nowhere and Zaid knew very well I was about to die and the grief Zaid felt was real. I’ll never know how Zaid coped with my sudden passing in the following days after 9/11’s tragedy. It’s going to be intense for him I bet

The majority of the story actually came from
the calls of families and from
the Black Boxes from the flight

Agree. It is probably the best movie about 9/11
