Loved the Schwinns, the PDG as well as the Homegrown😍
Yes I'm a big fan too, had one once and was amazing... Thanks for watching 👍🏻

I still have the PDG 50 and 70 and hoping to get the 90 / Team in good condition.
FUN FACT = Future AMA Motocross/Supercross champion Eli Tomac was 2 years old at the time of this
Wow! How time flys.... Thanks for the fun fact! 👍🏻
Rishi Grewal third??? It's a mistake? Rishi Grewal no finished? Who finish third? Tanks.
We were still using cantilevers in 95?
V Brakes were a prototype, Henk Djernis & Caroline Alexander had them to test then in 1996 they were released in the XTR MK 2 groupset...

If you think back. In 89 when I started racing the components were getting better but braking was not as important as the gearing for Shimano...I recall using cantilever well into the 90s..
I rode the bus from Denver and met Tinker while he was riding up a trail and I was going down. I wasn't there for the race though.
@@tlansing18 Definitely. Not too dissimilar to the topic these days of Disc Brakes Vs Caliper debate... Thanks again 👍🏻
@@madtownangler Hope the experience got you into MTBing by being at a great race and seeing the stars! Thanks Again 👍🏻
I was very sad for Rishi Grewal.
Yes still to this day I'm not sure what happened, looked like a freehub body issue or rear axel failure? Thanks for watching 👍🏻
@@CyclingWorld1 It should be' very interesting to ask him!

Looks like he had no idea how to get the wheel out of a Klein frame...😁
