Given the problem of 8÷2(2+2)=x Sharp and Casio calculators use PEJMDAS, properly placing a higher priority on the juxtapositional multiplication. Which will give the correct answer of 1. Mathematics was created in order to communicate explanations of physics, astronomy, and finances. The solution to these issues is to verify the techniques against experimentaly verifiable results and make sure that your math actually serves it's original purpose. In science, hypotheses are tested before being accepted, let's test the hypothesis of being able to preform this math problem as proposed. One such experiment involves rolling a wheel along a track. Distance divided by circumference is equal to the revolutions required to roll a wheel. Dist÷2πr=revolutions. To roll a wheel 120" how many revolutions will a wheel, with hub radius of 11", and a tread thickness of 1" have to complete? 120"÷2π(11"+1")=? 120"÷(2π)(11"+1")=? 120"÷π(22"+2")=? Will it be 120"/2 x π(12") = ? 2262in² Or 120"/6.283 x (12")= ? 229.2in² Or will it be 120"/π x (24")= ? 916.7in² Obviously not since every one of those results, to the same problem, returns a different incorrect answer with the units of inches². Any answer much different from 1.59 revolutions is going to be incorrect. This is verifiable experimentally PEMDAS was not "invented" by mathmaticians. It was created by grade school teachers of Mathematics, not even physics or science. It's an oversimplification to make it easier to get the basics taught. The Style Guides of both the Society for Mathematics and the Society for Physics recognize the importance of the PEJMDAS conventions that prioritizes juxtapositional multiplication ahead of division. And our experiment supports this. In science, it only takes one example to disprove an hypothesis, which I believe has now been done.

Please enlighten me po sa #3 😫 Sa reviewer "2" ang sagot based sa order ng PEMDAS (not left to right) Multiply muna then Divide 64x2÷2x4-7-7 = 128÷8-7-7 = 16-7-7 =2 Kay Ma'am is from left to right. 64x2÷2x4-7-7 = 128÷2x4-7-7 = 64x4-7-7 = 256-7-7 = 242
Hi Ma'am, final answer ko po sa number 3 is 2, gi try ko rin e calculator just to check lang if tama ba ang final answer ko and 2 po ang sagot sa calcu.. medyo nalito lng po ako.
As per Order of Operations, kapag wala na pong e solve sa loob ng parenthesis, kunin na po natin ito at ilagay ang multiplication sign... Otherwise, kung JUXTAPOSITION yung rason, then unahin ito PERO kung para sa Civil Service Exam, please do the division first kung mas nauna ito. I mean kung pang CSE, tama po yung nasa video
@@dinopedrosa8751 tama po kase multiply panya sa 3 kaya 64 na kalabasan

Hinde mo na sunod yung order of operation which is left to right So dun muna sa pinaka left mag umpisa ng solving kasi ang ginawa mo nag multiply kana agad sa 2(4) kaya lumabas 128 divided by 8
Maam maraming maraming salamat po ang dami ko po natutunan sa inyo.. More power po and more videos to upload
Thank you po,,mas naiintindihan ko na ngayun

One such experiment involves rolling a wheel along a track.
Distance divided by circumference is equal to the revolutions required to roll a wheel. Dist÷2πr=revolutions.
To roll a wheel 120" how many revolutions will a wheel, with hub radius of 11", and a tread thickness of 1" have to complete?
120"÷2π(11"+1")=?
120"÷(2π)(11"+1")=?
120"÷π(22"+2")=?
Will it be 120"/2 x π(12") = ? 2262in²
Or 120"/6.283 x (12")= ? 229.2in²
Or will it be 120"/π x (24")= ? 916.7in²
Obviously not since every one of those results, to the same problem, returns a different incorrect answer with the units of inches².
Any answer much different from 1.59 revolutions is going to be incorrect. This is verifiable experimentally

Salamat Mam

Thank you Sensei.
Please enlighten me po sa #3 😫
Sa reviewer "2" ang sagot based sa order ng PEMDAS (not left to right) Multiply muna then Divide
64x2÷2x4-7-7 = 128÷8-7-7 = 16-7-7 =2
Kay Ma'am is from left to right. 64x2÷2x4-7-7 = 128÷2x4-7-7 = 64x4-7-7 = 256-7-7 = 242
Kaya nga sa reviewer 2 ang sagot..
hindi ko na din alam kung ano ang tama 😭
Thank you ma'am. 😊
Hello po Ma'am.Pwede po patulong🙂What is the remainder of the 5^100 ÷ 7?
Thank you
Sensya napo maam sadyang mahina talaga kami hehe
Salamat po sa post maam
So ma'am tama parin pag juxtaposition ang sundin?
Hi Ma'am, final answer ko po sa number 3 is 2, gi try ko rin e calculator just to check lang if tama ba ang final answer ko and 2 po ang sagot sa calcu.. medyo nalito lng po ako.
Thanks po
There's no subtraction in Pemdas
mam ask kopo panu po naging 64 ung sa 4 cube ilang beses po ba sya pwedeng e times salamat po
4³= 4x4x4= 64
Bakit po sa reviewer ang sagot sa no. 3 is 2? 😢 naguguluhan po ako mam. 😭
Hello po ma'am, tanong lng po mas mauuna po ba dapat isipin si direction (left to right) bago ang order sa PEMDAS?
PEMDAS is an acronym para di makalimutan ang ORDER OF OPERATIONS
please watch this: th-cam.com/video/xc2vTTNJmtk/w-d-xo.html

I mean, could it be just a mistake in Civil Service Reviewer?
Same tayu ng question...
nag ka mali si maam 4^3 is equals to 48 hindi 64.... yung ginawa ni maam akala niya 4^4 kaya 64 sagot nya
@@dinopedrosa8751 tama po kase multiply panya sa 3 kaya 64 na kalabasan

hi paano po nakuha yung 2^3=8 sa number 2?
2x2=4x2=8
Billow man pwede patulng nang assaimemt
Naol, bat kasi pag sasagot nako di kona alam 🥲🥺
Ahahahaha 😂😂😂 relate minsan
Hello maam sa #3 po my kalituhan lang kasi ang sagot ko ay 2 because..
64(2)÷2(4)-7-7=
128÷8-7-7=
16-7-7=
9-7=2
2 din sagot,,
Parehas Po tayu Ng answer haha Kase kala ko din Ang 2(4)ay times mo Muna bago gamitin sa method na left to right
Hinde mo na sunod yung order of operation which is left to right
So dun muna sa pinaka left mag umpisa ng solving kasi ang ginawa mo nag multiply kana agad sa 2(4) kaya lumabas 128 divided by 8
Solve first ang 2(4) bago po edivide
