PNG government should be looking at beefing its airforce as well as its navy to provide security for its borders, its citizens and most importantly, its rich natural resources. Foreign governments, multinational companies and transnational criminals will and are already taking advantage of our weak defence and lack of surveillance.we are a sovereign nation, it's our government's prerogative to strengthen our security, not Australia, US or other partners as they have their own national interests in PNG
