Something is off by the way that Mara hesitates when stating that if she wants spider bought to her. Than she asks if Crow would be there as well, further implying that she does not want to kill spider. One guess is that killing spider would set her back with Crow and she does not want to lose that. Another guess would be that Mara has a greater plan in mind something that Zavala hints at in one of the seasons lore card.
Just a side note on the delicate tomb fusion. The ornament is covered by the color of all 3 light sub-classes & the name Avant-Garde means favoring or introducing experimental or unusual ideas.

I reckon Crow will intervene somehow. Mara has always seen him as someone who needs to be led. Perhaps he is going to stand up to her and stop her from harming Spider.

Petra is Mara's second in command, her right hand. Petra handles matters like war and any odds and ends that the queen might require. Petra also acted as the leader of the Awoken when Mara was traversing the Ascendant Plane after her death in the Taken King expansion for Destiny 1.
Spider will probably betray the last city and house of light when emramis is defeat the will probably set bombs to the last city and make a run for it capturing eido and stealing the relics for he's own purpose

Playing that game on Dreaming City was the most fun I ever had on Destiny 2. Even playing in the Shattered Reams was fun.
