That's exactly what I love about my '81 Spider. The simple mechanics that can be restored to working order with a little logic. If necessary, you can even make a spare part yourself. My 3D printer now acts as a spare parts manufacturer for parts that are no longer available :-) Good work and have fun with it Greetings from Germany
I have never been first to comment on anyone's video, so here I am. Of course, I haven't yet looked at the video, so I will have to edit my comment. - Okay, in the meantime I have looked at the video, but Chef has solved all of the problems so he doesn't need any sage advice from me. I will simply congratulate him on another project to scratch off of his list and wish him further success. Thanks for the video, David. I'm sure it will help someone in a similar position.
Hi Dave! (I’ve just watched you help Elin fit the TR4 crankshaft) - I hope your shoulder is gradually healing, but It takes time I’m afraid….Get well soon buddy 🙏🇬🇧
@@cheftush no it’s a long journey, I did mine in early 2020 shifting cement sacks, had to give up badminton temporarily but the COVID lockdown gave me a sporting vacation (for two years eventually!) but back to 100% now 😊
