馬師曾 (飾宋世傑), 紅線女 (飾唐氏), 李蘭 (飾楊秀珍), 劉克宣 (飾顧讀)
姚家大少和妻子田氏為獨吞家產, 合謀毒害胞弟, 還嫁禍弟婦楊秀珍謀殺親夫。姚家丫環得悉二人陰謀, 及時通知秀珍逃走。秀珍往找兄長楊勉幫助, 豈料楊勉好賭成性, 輸掉秀珍所有盤川, 更將她賣給同姓兄弟楊春作妻。楊春得知秀珍的遭遇後, 心生憐憫, 決為她伸冤。但二人意外失散, 秀珍又快將臨盆。此時, 名狀宋世傑的妻子唐氏路過, 將秀珍帶返家中。世傑封筆多年, 但感秀珍身世可憐, 決意替她向濟南知府-顧讀告狀。

Yiu familys eldest son and his wife planned to inherit all of the family fortune. They killed his younger brother and framed the murder on his sister-in-law, Yeung Sau-zhen. Sau-zhen escaped after informed by her servant and seek help from her brother, Yeung Min. Yeung Min is a gambler who lost all the money and sold his sister to a man named Yeung Chun. Yeung Chun sympathsied Sau-zhen and agreed to bring her case to court. However, Sau-zhen and Yeung Chun separated in an incident. At this point, the pregnant Sau-zhen was about to give birth and she met Madam Tong, wife of the famous lawyer Sung Sai-kit on the road and Madam Tong brought her home. After Sai-kit knew about Sau-zhens story, he decided to help Sau-zhen by bringing her case to court and met the Ji'nan magistrate, Koo Duk.

不單模仿 是向馬老大致敬 觀其（審死官）電影 曾向其父叩拜（相中人正是馬師曾）
十幾年前訓唔住開電視睇, 剛好播審死官, 先知周星馳學馬師曾先生既演出方法...當時睇晒全套先訓, 真係幾好睇!
差好多，周猩星演出太浮誇！😂😅
