Instead of having 11 lines/waves (6 orange and 5 blues waves) make 12 lines or any even number. So just chain 49 in the beginning instead of 45. Once you’re done both panels, lay them beside each other so that they’re the same. (ex. Blue is the first starting colour on the left.) I know this is obviously a subjective opinion, but crocheting is soooooo much easier than knitting. It’s also a lot more flexible / less complicated as far as yarn sizing, hook sizing, pattern adjustments, etc go. I’ve also found crocheting is less pressuring when it comes to making mistakes, as they way are easier to fix. AND, luckily, that lurking pinch of anxiety that comes with having to always make sure all those dang stitches are kept on the needle is non existent! SoOoOo long story short- id say go for it!
