Once, I threw out a thumbs-up emoji like I was about to level up, but then I didn’t and instead bought the guy who gives you a triplet if he survives, LOL
Rather than Dr Booms, i think its far more likely Holo Rover gets nerfed. Either moved up to Tier6 or remove the Divine Shield or put a cap on how many magnetic it can give.
I think the problem is in a sense, not how many stats are being granted, but rather, that its being generated so much randomly. I think a better fix is to prevent things that generate magnetized mechs from generating Dr. Boom's Monster, that way you need to actually make expenditures to find it rather than just rely on your units randomly getting you like 10+ of them each game.
@jackkimball521 Well, the only reason why it's an issue compared to the other magnetics is because it has much higher stats than them. Alternatively, I think it would be a good idea to make it only gain stats when it's attached. That way, you don't get 100/100 off of a plain magnetic. It would otherwise be weird to have an exception where one card cannot be discovered.
@@newtonthenewt1400 Yes, hitting the stats would be a nerf, but I think such a nerf would be misplaced, and may not even be sufficient even if you nerfed him to +1/+1 per magnetic. I could also see it not applying to future mechs you magnetize, but it still seems like a large portion of the problem is that too many monsters are being generated for "free". As far as making an "exception" goes, I think I'd word it so that such cards only create magnetic minions of tier 5 or lower, so that its obvious that monster specifically wont be generated.
I agree with Jack. Nerfing its numbers seems super unfun. I think mech generators should maybe only be able to generate units from 5 and lower, or non-legendaries
its because it knows he's supposed to be higher. He's usually around 13k rating, so these are his matches to catch up. He'll get 300 points until around 10k because it knows based on all his other seasons that he's supposed to be up that high
@@thomas9208 Why not? The only way to become stronger is to play against stronger opponent. And 6k was just an example - I am usually finishing close to 10k during the last three seasons. Still never get more than 99 once I reach 6k. 🤷
@@romanburak8209 So you get cut off from 300 per win around 3-4k before your normal finish. That is the same for him, he just gets to around 10k before he reaches that threshold.
Its mutual benefit. Both players essentially say: "Hey, I'm not developing my board and instead I'm leveling. If you'd like to level as well so we both are higher tier and haven't taken that much damage then let's do it!"
Due to the fact that almost all magnetics he had were either from Holo Rover or Clunker Junker, I guess it wouldn't really change it much, the key role played Dr. Boom's Monster, so it was more about quantity, not quality 😅
@@azurosforest2666 yeah I looked back, he maybe got 5% of his mechs from the tavern, meaning if he chose the eledemon it might have gotten him an extra 50/50 on one of his guys
You know a certain tribe in Battlegrounds is a problem when over 50% of the lobby are competing for it. Now my initial concede is when I see Mechs are available, because seeing just how insane the early part of it is with that Tier 2 Magnetic Buffer, it's like the Quill boar meta all over again, but with more divine shields and gigantic stats. May be a skill issue on my part since I'm only in the 3000's of ranking, but it feels like Mechs are just the only things people are playing, instead of anything else.
Ill be honest, 3000's are a rank where people are still doing so poorly at optimizing their turn that by figuring a way out to get an extra minion early game you can already win. It might feel annoying to see people force mechs but mechs can still be vulnerable around the turns they are in tier 4 and 5 and cant access dr boom yet. The early game is definitely annoying because it is easy to play, but if you try to level to 3 quickly you should be able to catch up soon
i think in non-top mmr lobbies mech abusers just get away with it too easily; they dont get punished for poor optimisation and stabilisation and very bad mid-game. i think the mech meta will eventually sort itself out after a couple weeks when everyone gets to their actual mmr level
@@ortiseiiiii I dont think mech early game needs a nerf. Holo Rover is broken and dr booms might be slightly overtuned, mech early game is offset by no more utility drone and very strong tier 3-4 for other tribes (pirates are a nice tribe to play against them if you can get to tier 3 quick and find peggy/marauder. The main thing you need to learn if you are at 3k is just optimize turns and find ways to buy more stuff. When I was at that rank I thought patient scout was a horrible card, the more you get higher in the ranks the more you realize it is an excellent card to optimize economy and try to find ways to cheese yourself to more minions and higher tiers early.
I don't want them to be nerfed. You already need to high roll to even play them. If they nerf them, beast is going to be completely dead for anything but low mmr. At least not nerf the power, in fact buff the scaling of the death rattle maybe and make it a tier 6 and remove goldrinn, since it is so bad it's not even funny right now. It would make beetles have something to get at six and make four slightly worse, meaning you will need to go to five.
I mean I don't get it, I never get a good tavern -> It keeps giving me other classes than the one I play over and over and if I change it changes back to different cards :)) I find this update shit.
sorry bro but it sounds like a skill issue. you can’t just always have a bad tavern. work with what you get offered and don’t force any builds is my advice 💪
yeah realistically most people don't choose a tribe/class until around 6-7, and even then it's not final. If you're going Mech and its turn 8 and someone else has massive pirates, you should use your mechs and the money from them to secretly start making another board of venom murlocs so when you have to go against him again, you suddenly have a full team of murlocs who can beat him. I played naga earlier, got the buffs to be +100/+100 and then secretly collected a golden nuizao, put all my buffs on it, made a 3000/3000 nuizao in one turn and then killed two beast players that had 300/300 beetles
So slow, APM is low - you have a lot to improve, also not spreading to the bot but sticking it its a mistake, just watch Silvername how is he playing fast and fast thinking. But nice combo obviously , could've done it better !!
This is kinda a rude comment. It's often better to play slow and perfectly than play fast and misplay. There's no need to compare to other content creators either since it just feels bad that you're comparing the faults of one to the best of another
