The close up detail in the terminator is simply amazing. No viewer in the movies got that close. Yet they still designed all the detail.

The prop museum was the same site where the King Tut display was located in 1977 when it was touring the United States. I was seven when we went there and along the underground passageway there were some market vendors and a donut shop where my Dad and I shared a huge chocolate glazed "king donut".

    Not a T-1000 hand. It's from a T-800 Model 101. The T-1000 was the liquid metal one.

Just discovered your channel and I'm loving it. The only other person I follow is Jordan the Lion. What you do is right up my alley. This baby boomer traveled across the USA through the desert to California in 1960 when I was 5 years old and we stopped at Indian reservations and little diners and got caught in dust storms and locust storms and your channel is bringing back all those memories. Wonderful and look forward to watching many of your vlogs.

I was able to visit MoPop in September 2019 while visiting a friend in the area. I was most excited about the Wizard Of Oz stuff, but the whole place was incredible. I kept expecting things in the horror section to start moving. I believe this is the first time I've actually been to one of the places in your videos. I can finally start filling out that bingo card!

I saw Friday The 13th at a drive-in theater during the summer of 1980. I was 12 years old. The scariest part of the movie for me was at the end when the disfigured creepy boy jumped up the side of the canoe and took that lady down into the depths of Camp Crystal Lake. I had nightmares for a long time because of that 😨.

Hero, stunt, or whatever, genuine props always make me wonder "How much of the weathering was made PRIOR to filming, DURING the film's making, or AFTER due to mishandling, natural deterioration, etc?" Also, I'm often surprised at how - handmade - they look (paint dripping, mold seams, stickers that resemble something other than a sticker, asymmetry, fake metallic paint, etc.) BUT ON SCREEN...amazing.
I'm no expert, but one of the telltale signs of a non-made-for-film prop, in my opinion, is they look TOO good in person.
