im into my second season in a spurs save and played a similar tactic however i copied with the two tweaks of an advanced forward instead of a DLF and the DLP was set to defend and only gave my team one day with it before a match against Barca which all the media said we would lose, they still have the likes of Messi. we won 3-0 and they only had two shots, neither on target with an xG around 0.10. thank you so much!!

The most important thing in attack on Pep Barça were the two wide wingers touching the sideline to make space for the centre diamond and so Messi had more space. This created a dilema between the opposing defensive line, and the wide wingers made behind runs. If fullbacks have the task of creating width they aren’t as constant as wingers, because they have a more deep defensive duty. Maybe you did this for the videogame, but that’s a crucial part on positional play, and one of the reasons of Barcelona’s latest years poor performance and system with horrendous coaches. The width must come from the wingers

However, I think the AI has got used to it and I now need to change the tactic. I will look at this one but try to keep the way I have the front 3. Maybe a DLF in the middle with an AF on the right and the IW on the left. I'm hoping the DLF can feed both AF and IW from his central position.
I don't think Pep does use Tika-taka, tika-taka is fast paced, short, one touch passing, Pep's teams play at a more varied pace with more crosses but it's similar in that it's all about possession.

I usually use 4-3-3, usually with 1dm and 2cm. I noticed AMC struggle in FM21 that's why I don't use 4-2-3-1. A lot depends on the players whatever you use though.
I'm guessing your IW are scoring a lot because you've set your WBs to spam crosses to the far post. Good tactic. I like defensive solidarity. Can you show the full league table so we can see goals conceded next time?

LOL OMG, worst thing is, it started out as a García Pimienta recreation, the Barca B coach lol but I couldn't get it to work so I tweaked a few things and what I learnt from my Xavi/Pep videos, I used with this tactic
With support, they come with "get further forward" which we can't remove. The reason I didn't want that instruction is because when we build up, they're too advanced but want them to be a little deeper to be involved in the play

Which is have my wide players on stay wider and then in the middle have a Box to Box and Central Midfielder attack and oh my God has it been brilliant. My biggest test so far was against RB Leipzig and I beat them 3-1
If the pressing urgency team instruction is on standard, you can increase it for individual players. You can then just change the team instruction back. I don’t know if it changes anything though, it might
You might have already figured this out but go into your in possession settings on your tactic and change the teams passing directness to the highest value or the value below that, then you can change it and it will keep the changes even when you go back to the passing directness you want
The fact you played a whole season and got relegated whilst using one tactic tell us everyone we need to know… Please, don’t come here to spread hate or whatever you are attempting to do. Nobody downloads a tactic, plays and gets relegated. Furthermore, this tactic was under heavy testing. Meaning, it was tested with the lowest secure clubs and always overachieved.

This tactic is made ONLY for possesion the ball. Nothinh else. U will keep the ball just for keeping it. Thats all. This is not made for scoring goals and winning trophys. U have 2 the same wings. No balance at all. And u try tell people that it works after only one season on holiday. It funny. U nedd system of play and at least 3 tactics to win trophys in todays FM. After 2 seasons of useing only one tactic AI will exactly know what u gonna do and even bottoms teams will kick your ass. With such not balanced tactic u can play on mobile version. ANd another thing is intensity of tactic+your traning(pep or ticitaca, whatever) = HOSPITAL!!!

The striker wont score goal
When Pep said he never played Tiki Taka, he meant it as in not just playing quick passes for the sake of it. His style is postional play

I'm only in pre-season (season 2) but this is looking like the best (non-exploitish) tactic I've used. The football is incredible!
