I’m 5’10” about 170 (down from 195) and still wear the XL. I tired the large but cant do it. I have broad shoulders, it was too tight and too uncomfortable to really move around in. The sleeves would start riding up if i reach out. I usually wear a tank top and long sleeve shirt under it. If you work outside, your arms will get cold wearing only a short sleeve t shirt. Wearing something that tight can really wear you out if you move around working a lot. No idea what kinda work you do, but I’d bringing both with you and actually trying them. No idea how you fit into small, but pick what you think is best. I just pick up their cut resistant sleeves for $15 - worthwhile just to help keep arms a warmer without restricting any more shoulder movement.
I am 5’ 10”, 145lbs. I fit great in a Small, I am usually a Medium. These jackets run really big.

Good info on the battery replacement I was checking it out on Amazon power back aren’t that expensive . Did u manage to swap the battery?
I want one, I'm also very sure I'm going to be swimming in a small one.
The reason for long sleeves is that this jacket was designed for construction workers that move alot.
No way your 6ft.... these jackets are short for anything taller
