Welcome to our channel! We are Immy and Tani, a full time travel family and today we are sharing our travel journey with you guys. In this vlog we go from HUA HIN to CHUMPHON then go to KOH TAO from there. It was indeed a long journey but worth it!
There are lots of train options from HUA HIN to Chumphon! The fastest train service from Hua Hin to Chumphon is Train #43 departing from Hua Hin at 12:09 and scheduled to arrive in Chumphon 4 hours 17 minutes later. The slowest service is Train #167 departing at 23:39 which is scheduled to complete the journey between Hua Hin and Chumphon in 5 hours 16 minutes. We recommend buying tickets from the train station as they are cheaper!
We spent the night at Chumphon and took a water ferry the next morning.
By far the easiest and most comfortable way to travel from Chumphon to Koh Tao is by taking a Lomprayah High Speed Catamaran service from Thung Makham Noi Ferry Pier, which is located 27.5 km by road from Chumphon Railway Station.

Do share a real overview of Koh Tao. I've had a few reasons to be skeptical traveling here. Me and the wife avoided Koh Tao even though it's the Global center for Scuba. However, it's got scary stories attached so we skipped. Do share an insight and we might do it from our end this year.
Our next vlog is about Koh Tao and personally we didn't feel anything similar to the horror stories.
