- The gearscore matchmaking for casual lobbies on Dungeonborne is broken so today I give players advice on how to avoid the full set bonus purple epic geared players in Dungeonborne until the devs actually balance the matchmaking!

I think your onto something but from playing tons of game myself i think what we are looking at is a 3 tier gear score matchmaking.
1. If you wear only starter gear and enter a match everyone is wearing all starter gear and most lobbies don't fully fill up at least at night time
2. It seems like when you break a certain threshold of gear score is when the chads come out
3. Ive done heirloom runs where you only wear your 3 heirlooms along with starter gear and its just fine no chads and people wearing mostly green gear
(Purple Staff, Blue Ring, Blue boots and the rest starter gear)
Also to me at least, it seems like gear score also may have something to do with loot tables. it could be me but when i do starter gear runs the loot tables just feel so much shitier than when I bring gear in.
My next video due later today shows me playing bots they are that bad. Definitely something not right.
Same experience you need to have some rarer gear to get the mobs to drop rarer stuff that's for sure, and the players will also have same stuff
i think its more of a treshold system, you had at least 2 people with purpel weapons in your round , qued a lot on basic gear in the last days because my friends just started and we mostly got starter gear maybe a few greens at most 1 blue where the player mostlikely found it in the run, if i go in with green/blue mix there are always some who have at least 2 purples, biggest problem i encountered was in my first days , i ran into a few people who only used the 3 legendary looms and didnt equip even basic gear to bring it down as much as possible... fighting someone with 3 legendarys who is lvl 20 as a lvl 4 rouge with grey gear is not much fun
Could see the purple dagger kill pretty early into the first match.

Yes mate he killed the boss and only got 2 purples 😂. Not sure what you get if you kill him on classic mode
Classic is a min 15 gs to get in you can't go in with a starter set

You should play more the game before making videos, there's a match making based on GS for casuals, and above around 25 GS, everyone plays together. Also, it's kinda ridiculous that you don't even know that the auction is where you buy gear with set bonuses
