Continuing our conversation on pricing strategy by looking into whether you should mark up your apparel price or not. Many shops do markup the apparel price and for various reasons. I have recently decided not to do that in my pricing, but instead added a different type of handling fee. How do you. handle apparel markups in your pricing?

So one thing i dont ever hear about is shipping? I know when I order i kind of tell my clients that when they have smaller orders that I’ll add it to my cart and when i get a big enough order ill get there’s on the way. I also let them know i do order maybe once a week or so but could be 2 weeks sometimes. Wonder if there is a good way to add the shipping cost into the garment price or that will eat into your profits

Great point. For smaller orders, assuming you don’t have other orders in the works that you can group together, I will either eat the cost if it’s small or I’ll let the customer know there will be added shipping costs and I add that to the invoice. You can also spread it out between all the shirts as just added to the shirt price.
