Did you got the new housing shell from Aliexpress? I was thinking about buying one to restore my silver one too but people say they have a bad quality overall... I would like to know your opinion about it. I was thinking about swaping the shell or even repainting my oem one. Nice video!
yes, I got it from Aliexpress. From what I can tell they're not terrible, considering that the original version is pretty bad already I feel like these ones are ok.

The casing on the original DS are known to have brittle plastic. That reason is why I prefer the DS Lite over the original.
