This is story-telling at its very best....a small vignette packing a lot of punch! Beautiful scene, evocative and portraying the impact of conflict and all it brings upon humanity. Excellent job indeed.
I think he is Private Ryan, the first few minutes after the initial shock has passed. He is thinking about his childhood and the games he played with his late brothers. Then their teen years, the first parties, the first girls and such. Fantastic work as always. I would expect none the less from you Merrick.
That soldier is probably thinking about all his friends who died in battle and will never return to their home... and he might be next. Apart from that, the diorama is incredible! Good job, keep it up! 👏
You say there are much better figure painters on you tube... I dont think so...magnificent realism there Mr High Eye. What a little diamond set piece! Thankyou for that.
Another amazing piece of artistry 👌🙂 The techniques to build up an environment & the products used are all really useful. All the colour tones blend in so naturally - & as always Diorama Presepe’s products look incredible! Great video👍
My lovey, i dont know your name, only as high eye, but i must tell you, your work is amaaaazing…..and the painting of the soldier was superb…..thank you so much…..from South Africa
Its the first 48 hours of DDAY, Private schofield has been split up from his company thats apart of the 82nd airbourne after winds took him far from his dropzone. Upon landing schofield secure his chute away out of sight and proceeded to move through a somewhat dense woodland area with an erie silence to it, as if the animals had all packed up and left. After proceeded for a few mins schofield hears voices in the direction of a road he can make out through the forest that dont appear to be speaking english. He decides to drop back and move parrelel with the road til he comes across a small stream and decides to wait a while before he carrys on his journey to find friendly forces.
i think his story is he was trying to ambush a german base and his squad got ambushed he was the only one to survive and now he is looking for the american base.

Beautiful work!!
Thank you, Chris!
Thank you for the great tutorial. The scene is lovely, but sad. The music too was just perfect.
Thank you 🙂
wonderful diorama, wonderful story-telling 🙏🙏🙏
What’s impressive is how these TH-cam guys get all this free stuff🙂
Great. Thanks for sharing your approach. Probably could have had a motorbike on the top part of the base , for example, rather than a bare space?
The point really was to have him entirely alone, with the footprints hinting at the presence of others who have departed.
Wow your work is amazing 🤩 my Dad would love this 🥰 great job
I love it so much.😍 I am so inspired by your artwork. This diorama says so much without words. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Thank you 🙂
I love this channel I love too watch this channel

I've never seen such a great diorama without a vehicle
Thank you 🙂
Awesome!
Today I rewatched some of your videos, asking myself when you probably gonna upload a new video :) Good timing. And such a nice one too!
Thanks 🙂
I think it would look even cooler if yoj could've made it look as if it was raining, but it still looks good, definitely better than what I could do
beautiful work mate!
Thanks!
Very Nice !!!!
Cool😀 having been in the army I would say he’s on platoon century post in a Battalion exercise.
Thanks! Not something I'd considered, so that's really cool. Glad it evokes different things for different folk!
@@HighEyeWorkshop yeah he looks to casual to be in a real war lol.
Great job
What Brand of Paint and brushes you use
Thank you 🙂 I use Army Painter and Citadel for miniatures as well as others I pick up cheaply for scenery.
Great work, enjoyed that and took a few tips on board…thank you..subbed
Thank you 🙂
I swear this landscape looks more real than some I have seen in real life
Amazing ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks 🙂
Is wonderful !! 👏🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much!
I was wondering where I can get that same figure?
It's by Stalingrad Miniatures. It's a US Airborne 'at rest' figure.
@@HighEyeWorkshop thank you
Magnifique. Vraiment très réel.
Thank you 😊
cool
Hi can I ask what figure holder is that you were holding many thanks
It's by Red Grass Games, or Redgrassgames. Very good.
@@HighEyeWorkshop many thanks very much appreciated
This is just sad. My first thought was maybe his brothers were shot out of the sky and he was the lone survivor

Brilliant! Yes, that's about what I imagined 🙂
That had soldier probably seen his squad shot down thinking he's next and he can ever see he's family and all the trauma he s had
Looks like he's thinking about his family and how he misses them and having cold beers with his buddies back home 🤔
where did you get the figure for this diorama? he would be perfect in one i am building now!
It's by Stalingrad miniatures. Bought from eBay 👍
@@HighEyeWorkshop lovely, thank you
One thing is missing: the strap on his Thompson gun...
Wasn't part of the model, but you're right.
Can you send me the link where you bought the figure?

It was on eBay.
After bailing out and landing, he got lost.
👍👍👍👍👍
👍
😍
He really doesn't care at this point as his head is exposed to open fire
Exactly 🤣
@@HighEyeWorkshop I really wanna learn how to do this what kind of art is this called and what can I do to learn this?
@@wolfdog3312 diorama making. I learned just by watching TH-cam.
Or he's trying to remember if he paid his car insurance.
i think his story is he was trying to ambush a german base and his squad got ambushed he was the only one to survive and now he is looking for the american base.
