  • Ingredients
Cabbage leaves (large ones) 10 pcs
    Ground pork 200 g
    Ground beef 100 g
    Yellow onion 1/2 pc
    Egg 1 pc
    Breadcrumb 1/2 cup
    Salt To taste
    Pepper To taste
    Ground parsley
    [ Sauce ]
    Canned diced tomato 400 g
    Water 2 cups
    consommé powder 1 1/2 tbsp
    Tomato ketchup/tomato paste 4 tbsp
    Salt To taste
    Pepper To taste
    Steps
    1. Remove the hard parts of the cabbage stems, briefly blanch the cabbage, then let it cool.
    2. Finely chop the onion, wrap loosely in cling film or microwave suitable containers, heat in the microwave at 500W for about 1 minute, and let it cool.
    3. Add the ground meat, microwaved onions, egg, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper to a bowl and mix well until the mixture becomes sticky.
    4. Place the mixture on top of each piece of cabbage leaf and wrap the meat up tightly. Secure with a toothpick to prevent it from losing shape.
    5. Mix the sauce ingredients in a pot, add the cabbage rolls, turn on the heat to medium heat, and bring to a boil to remove any skim.
    6. Cover the pot with aluminum foil and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
    7. Remove the toothpicks from the rolls, put them in a bowl, sprinkle with dried or fresh ground parsley and ready to serve.

Thank you for the compliment! It is sour cream, goes very well with tomato based soup recipes.
