THIS VIDEO CONTENT IS NOT TO BE USED FOR REAL-WORLD FLIGHT TRAINING
The primary purpose of any FAAV videos is to enhance your flight simulator experience with a real Challenger 650 Business Jet Captain operating a desktop-simulated aircraft. While I am using real-world procedures (for the most part), including flight planning, flight procedures, etc. they should never be duplicated in real life.
While I am a real-world pilot who operates this type of aircraft, this is purely for entertainment only.
Personal questions regarding my employment and or remuneration will not be answered. I appreciate your understanding

If steering via the rudder pedals only and not the tiller, you will have 7 degrees only. Finished my CL650 Initial Type back in March. Great Videos by the way!

Hello Sir, great video ! I loved the way you dived in depth. Do you recommend any school for the type rating ? I’m currently in Turkey now and seriously considering to join in a training. Thanks for your effort !

Yes, after the second recurrent lol 😂 in all seriousness, having the Hot Start Challenger 650 has been such a blessing. The systems are near identical to the real aircraft, flying the sim helps me tremendously, especially as I near another recurrent.

Good video. im type rated on 604/605 in my ICAO ATPL. completed my ATPCTP & ATM. Planning my FAA ATP/type rating on CL605. can you share the cost of 650 FAA upgrade/Recurrent at Bombardier? or the cost wise best option CAE or FSI?

@@malikabrarhussain5781 thank you very much for your kind comment. I’m sorry I do not have the current cost of getting a type rating on a challenger 650. Your best thing to do is to call them or email them. It’s very easy to do this. Just go to the website. Please understand that each company gets a different discount, depending on how many type ratings and renewals that they put through my companies, medium sized, we get some type of discount that I have absolutely no idea about. You better to contact them directly and get an answer that I would just be guessing on. Sorry, I can’t be any further help.

@@malikabrarhussain5781 as for choosing between CAE or FSI, again get a quotation from both of them, it would be best if you could get some type of deal through a larger company rather than a one off. Maybe the company that you’re going to work for can provide a better deal through discounting, as I’ve mentioned already. It’s going to be expensive buddy. It’s better to try and leverage you resources as much as possible. I understand that getting a type rating right now is going to be very challenging, no pun intended. I would look in Dubai and also at the new CAE training facility in Las Vegas.

@@malikabrarhussain5781 not to discourage you, but there’s still very few training slots available right now, people trade them between companies. I would suggest you get involved with the challenger 605 650 Facebook group. They will provide a lot of great information for you on there. Ask direct answers.
