Unfortunately, I have known people like this. I'm a 70 year old white man. My last wife and I broke up 18 years ago. I've been alone ever since, romantically speaking. If God saw fit to provide me with the right woman, her skin color would mean absolutely nothing to me. I wouldn't care if she was black, white, red, yellow, blue, or green. It's what's on the inside that counts.

Very true my sister. I am a South African myself, my mother is Tshonga, my father is a very traditional Zulu man, we were raised in Mpumalanga in the Lowveld in Swati culture and I consider myself Swati. What I have noticed is that South Africa today have inter-cultural or tribal marriages and it is beautiful.
Finally a realistic ending where things aren't suddenly fixed with an apology and the parents liking the fiance(e). I liked that ending of not including the mother on his wedding. Good

It was kinda messed up of how George’s mother payed the waiter to break them up, all because she didn’t want him marrying her. I hate it when people are racist, especially towards black people. It kinda reminded me of how Cosmo’s mom from Fairly odd parents tried to separate Cosmo and Wanda twice.

After the story the mother caused a huge scene which prompted the hotel to call security and the police. When they arrived the mother got even more enraged because both the police and security guards were black and charged at them with a knife while screaming at them to "leave the country and don't return l!" The police ended up having to taze her and they found that she had a history of attacking people outside of her race mostly unprovoked. She also lost her job and her husband filed for divorce.
And she’s spending her lonely days in a nursing home

OMG this happened to me, my ex's mom didnt' like me. So many people were against us he seem to side with his mom eventualy,( I realized that a 'real' geniune person will always stand up for what's right even if its against themselves).We divorced and he married another person who gave her (his mom), even darker grandchildren. I felt it was God's way of getting back at her for being a racist. I was so happy and yet I wish them all well.

I have the privilege of having a mixed family one daughter is married to a Canadian, the other to a southern Man from A Southern State (Alabama) that happens to also be a Black Gentleman, my son is married to a lovely lady from Kentucky. The best part of all is NOT one in my family has any racial issues or issues with a family member that’s not a US Citizen that I’m aware of. God has given me a GOOD Family!😅

I don't like how people are treated by their colors of their skin or race. Martin Luther King Jr. once said "all man and female are equal no matter what their race, gender, or colors they are."
