Kinda confusing. The "Jigsaw " that performed this song for an Australian movie was a British band. But there was an Australian band called "Jigsaw". Correct me if I'm wrong. :)
I wasn't aware there was a local Australian band also called Jigsaw. As per Wikipedia, the British 'Jigsaw' band were referred to as 'British Jigsaw' in Australia. Definitely confusing since the film was an Australian co-production. :)

I saw this in the movies back in 1975 and knew this song would be so popular and timeless.
The lyrics only really made sense by the end of the film.
After all of these decades, I have never heard this version which adds a different sound and feel....only the radio edit.
