I have Dewalt pruners like yours and I love them!! My husband made me promise to keep my other hand back by my side while pruning so I don’t chop my fingers off.😂
Linda, I would move those two front bushes. I thought maybe just forward away from the bush they are closest and they would still grow rounder and look so happy.
It's amazing how fast the boxwood teenagers grew. I'd move them now, before their shade starts to interfere with the shape of the spheres. More room for tulips! Also, I hope that's an earthworm and not a jumping worm.
Hiway 5 is closed because of snow first time this season in Norcal. Raining down here. For days. Watering my garden is officially over. Stay warm & cozy & safe everyone.
I’m a northern Californian and living in the Bay Area. Do you know that we have gotten no rain. I have plants that are dying because of no water:-/. I keep reading about the extremely northern areas getting rain. I’m desperate!
Find another spot for those 2 boxwoods. Extra space will help everything below breathe and spread out. ...just my opinion. Thanks for all the info on alliums! linda from ne
Watching you..bring memories of my LG garden..moved,and have spent alll week doing outside Christmas..LG covered porch..trip to greenhouse..bought many greens filled my porch up, Hugh wreath for my front window..looks so pretty ❤ had them make me a cedar kissing ball..just like it plain.
Sadly we can’t do the leaf mulch thing. We have big leaf maples, and we get so much rain over the winter it turns into a slimy slug palooza… I tried one year and lost a lot of plants due to slugs and mold. BUT I bought the Worx leaf mulcher and it works great until the leaves are too wet to mulch. It’s been a huge help with the beginning of leaf drop clean up!
I would love a video on how to create a drift of bulbs. I just never seem to makle mine look good so anuy help I can get with this would be great! Thanks for considering
Question about Cool Job gloves. I like mine, but they are starting to get sticky. Anyone else have this problem? I wash them in the washer but never put them in the dryer. I let them air dry. Any suggestions?
Yes, I've noticed that, too. Perhaps it was due to tossing them in the washer. Or maybe that's just their problem. I have laundered other gloves with no problems.
@ I love your cottage on the hill! I watch Homeworthy on TH-cam all the time and rewatched your episode last night. You did a wonderful job! Just thought I’d let you know. Happy Thanksgiving!🦃🍁🍽
Those leaf blowers! I’m considering petitioning my city to outlaw them! The gas powered ones that landscapers use are crazy loud and a health hazard and most of the time are not necessary on small city lots. Love watching the seasons of your garden!
Ordered the army green jumper. X Rosie O 🎉
I can’t believe how fast the viburnum tree is growing it’s going to look beautiful when spring comes along next year.
Hi Linda and Stewart. Shaping up that snowball made a huge difference. Looks very architectural. BEAUTIFUL
Love all the pruning you did and how it just made everything look so more open. Beautiful even in the fall…thanks for sharing with us.♥️
A very informative segment, Linda & Stewart!❤

Great pruning and loved the video
So nice of you
Love the tool you used to shape up your Chinese Snowball Viburnum. My arthritic hands need it for Christmas.
It’s fab!
I had never thought about pruning up a magnolia. I'm definitely going to go look at mine and see if I can do that too.
Hope you will be sharing a Thanksgiving-prep video this weekend; your table-settings & tips are greatly anticipated, ,and very much appreciated.
Linda,

Love the sweater!!
Came here to say that I can’t look at plants, the sweater is too cute.

I am team clean out the beds by the sidewalk stairs and let the boxwoods shine. It would be a nice contrast to the upper garden
Thank you Linda 👍 good job.
Yes! Very helpful! I have an Edgeworthia Paper Bush to plant this week after our good rain. That will be the end of planting for me this year.😊
I would love a video on how to create a drift of bulbs. I just never seem to makle mine look good so anuy help I can get with this would be great! Thanks for considering
Nice Video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I would move the boxwoods hiding the ball shaped shrubs.
Another great video
Viburnum looks much better. It hurt when I pulled up my impatiens a few days ago but much easier after rain and before freeze.
I have actually seen several pairs of tall hunter boots on facebook marketplace, and yes in red.
Thx for the gravel tip under the Alliums. cgzone8
Linda are the hunter boots true to size or do they run bigger or smaller to true size ?
Slightly larger I think. I like them that way:)
Your garden has filled in so incredibly fast. Hard to believe you are already having to do some editing.

Hey, Linda!
Hey hey!

Hope that worm isn't a JUMPING WORM!!!!🪱🪱🪱🪱
Does your neighbor purposely haul out the leaf blower for Wednesday walk abouts? 😂
😝

Hopefully the bamboo stakes won't root in.
Leave them.
