You should try something like this with foam blocks instead of the drum pads, would create a real heavy bass sound for the mics.

I’m wildly surprised that this channel doesn’t have that many subs, I have 2 drum pads and a blue yeti, and would love to do this, but sadly you’re just… at least… a million times better than me at drums. I guess I’ll stick to bass guitar 🤷‍♂️
