Come to Australia. That Pineapple desert/smoothie would easily be $15.00 USD $21.00 AUD hear at a restaurant. Also Crocodile does taste like Chicken/Duck. Try Kangaroo, though as it is the most lean meat available. Like this video more as I am an older viewer and your enthusiasm is great; sometimes your jokes fail on me. when i went outside of asia I was so shock to know that people hate durian smell and taste. Because for us the smell is so good like you smelling candy for white people and it's call king of all fruit for a reason for people who enjoy it the taste is unmatched. And I just found out that it has to do with how people associate brain and the smell a person experience had with for example if you had a shitty food in a shitty restaurant you probably feel like even hen the food is completely different but the taste remind you of the shitty restaurant thus making u not like the food
Been there and it pretty good. Just remember the seafood spots will all try to rip you off Edit: you're better off avoiding the seafood stalls just because you don't know how long it was sitting out in the open environment even if it was on ice. Learned that hardway.
I don't want to upset you, but Jodd Market is an overpriced tourist attraction. For example normal price of mango smoothie is $0,85. Same price I usually pay for crocodile satay. There is Ruam Sab market not so far for this place, that is a real Thai food market with local prices.
Haha I know it costs more than usual, but it was still acceptable for me! The worst is when they charge over triple the normal price and the food is terrible.
How can you expect the same price when it’s the different location with different renting price. The tourist area always have higher renting price, it’s like this everywhere in the world. As long as the quality is ok that’s fine. I hate high price with bad service/quality. Btw you not only pay for the food but also for the atmosphere, this place have tables for sitting, some cleaner to clear up the table (there are some bad people who leave garbage on the table), nice clean decorating stalls.
Crocodile meat is the best tbh. The taste is lil bit like chicken and the texture is in between chicken meat and shark meat. Not too chewy but not really dry too, just perfect. :P
