We bought Scorpio Z8L on Dussehra 5th Sep. We didn't do any PDI & bought the vehicle completely on faith as the GM of showroom was my neighbor. However on just reaching home my wife pointed out that the Car had scratches & dent on rear quarter panel which was repaired badly. Luckily the car was not registered as it was holiday that day. The next day we forced the showroom to return the car. It took them 2 days to arrange a new car for us. Thus i can say from my experience that you should do thorough PDI before taking Delivery.
How can you take car home without registration and TR number and Insurance ?

Vikram bhai, what to do if anything happens to car in the showroom/dealer stock yard between period of PDI and actual delivery of the car?
I had the same question in my mind. Seems like a quick PDI in the dealership on the day of delivery, before full payment is necessary. Otherwise another option would be to take delivery on the next day after the PDI.
But Vikram ji this is not ur SUV ... Jo ke app PDI kar rahe ho...... That means ya to app ne apne car ke video nahe record ke.....ya vo delect ho gye ha...ya vo inspection app dekhana nahe chatte... 😘😘😘😘😘

I had booked Tucson 4WD this month and in my PDI I found that the left side of front bumper was repaired and very nicely camouflaged. I rejected the piece and asked for a new one. The dealer obliged. PDI before registration is very very important. Please do not ignore. If possible, take an experienced person with you while doing the PDI.
