- Understanding IP addressing and allocation management can be challenging and costly if not done right. In this session, learn about IP addresses, CIDR blocks, and subnets and how they relate to VPCs. Then, learn how to size your Amazon VPCs while using tools like Amazon VPC IP Address Manager (IPAM) to automate IP assignments, monitor IP addressing across networks, and provide retrospective analysis. In the second part of this session, consider how to create a complete routing solution using the familiar building blocks of VPC routing tables, prefix lists, and IPAM.

Thanks Du'an for the excellent information, exploring this now for our AWS organization.
Thank you so very much! :)
This looks great for larger, global organizations but could this be used for smaller orgs that may have less than 10-15 VPCs total? Would IPAM work for me if I'm only using VPC peering and a Transit Gateway?
